Park Plaza Suites Hotel

What was an out of this world experience at a supposed 4 star accommodation it was 2 stars at a push .from having a 90 year old person with parkinsons in a wheelchair stuck in the garage upon arrival the alarm bells started to ring when we finally located the reception that was not signposted anywhere to then arrive to a room that hadn't been cleaned broken elec sockets throughout terrace lights .mattresses with no protectors , dirty kitchen rusty ironing board, clothes washing stuck in the machine . 3 complaint visits to the reception and we are still arguing about the mattress in the master bedroom. We have wasted the best part of a day trying to get some satisfaction from a 2 night break . I would strongly recommend everyone to avoid this place .

All the staff were fabulous, every single one of them was super pleasant and helpful (from bellman to receptionists to housekeepers and maintenance staff). The apartment was spacious and the balcony was STUNNING. Location is of course not notch. But that’s about all of the good things I can say about this place and why it gets a 2 instead of a 1…. The interior was super old and dated, VERY uncomfortable beds, super hard! Even the balcony furniture looks cheap. I’m sure these apartment were good like 20-30 years ago… The hotel was noisy, could hear everything from streets and other floors. Washing machine was broken when we came. Many small details like that that makes it not worth a stay. Uncomfortable hotel in general (especially the beds). We had many power cuts making the lights, water and elevator not working for few times.

Location was excellent and the view from our balcony was amazing. We had a very large 2 bedroom apartment with kitchen and 2 bathrooms. It was comfortable and the perfect place to lay our heads after a night on the town.
