We stayed 8 nights for the US Open and meetings . The hotel is really well located and very busy . At times it felt like an airport. They have lots of events and functions so sometimes areas of the hotel are closed off. Our room was large and comfortable. We didn’t pay extra for a park view but will do next time. Service is overall very good except for breakfast on the Roof . This is a buffet included in most packages . Food is not great and staff are indifferent and grumpy. Breakfast on the 2nd floor is much better and the staff Francisco. Sam and Migdalia really lovely and professional. Nathalie and Carlos in the concierge team were very knowledgeable. efficient and made our stay very special . It would be good if the hotel could provide basic amenities in the bathrooms and a proper mini bar.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Park Lane!! First time to NYC, and we had some big expectations. Three things that were so amazing — the location, the view, and the service. I received texts prior to our arrival asking if we had any special requests, and they went above and beyond. It was a bday/girls trip with my mom, and they had out two personal bottles of wine and cheesecake waiting in the room when we arrived. Rooftop bar is a must. Tim is one of the doormen, and he is an absolute gem! He escorted us to our first subway ride (down the street and down the stairs!), printed directions out, and always made sure we were situated before we left for the day (umbrellas, taxis, directions, etc.). We are just some random ladies, and Tim and every other staff member at the hotel made us feel special.

The Park Lane is a lovely Hotel situated overlooking Central Park, but the rooms and the restaurants seemed tired and a bit out of date. During our stay our room never cooled below 75 and this was the second room that we were given. The first room had a totally non-working AC. The food was good at the restaurants but the set up and lay outs were awkward. The staff were all very friendly and super helpful.
