We stayed at Park Central Hotel between 26 - 30 January 2023. What an incredible trip. The hotel is perfectly situated within a few minutes from Central Park and Times Square. It also has easy access to the subway. The hotel, its staff and its amenities are fantastic. Our room was spacious and clean. Staff were very helpful and even prepared a welcoming surprise as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary during our stay and our forthcoming 50th birthdays. Thank you Betty! We took the air train from JFK to Sutphin Blvd Archer Ave - JFK then the subway E line to 57st 7th Ave. Approx 1 hour in total but much cheaper than a cab ride. The hotel is visible from the street as you exit the station. Do not hesitate to stay here. We will definitely be returning!
Great location couple blocks from Central Park, right next to subway, easy walk to Times Square & Rockefeller centre. The entrance and lobby were impressive with a large area of seating, a bar & coffee shop. Lifts worked well. Staff were all friendly & polite. I thought the rooms needed an upgrade including the bathroom hard flooring and a new bathroom suite would make such a difference. Cleaners seemed to come each day and towels and sundries were replaced. Add the resort fee into account as this is paid at the hotel. It was ok for the price but would look elsewhere on my next visit to NYC
Starting from the first phone call, my whole experience with Park Central Hotel was nothing short of incredible. Ms. Jen in reservations was polite, knew what she was doing, and even made notes for the front desk crew as we were talking. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the doorman who was charming and welcoming. I arrived before check in time and my room wasn’t quite ready so they invited me to check my bags in so I could go explore while they finished preparing my room. After a couple of hours I came back and checked in to find they had upgraded my room; the reservation lady had made a note that I was traveling for my birthday. Entering my room, I found they had left an extra special surprise for me to help me celebrate! Each time coming and going from the hotel I was met with smiles and welcoming words. The hospitality of the staff was outstanding. If I ever find myself in NYC again I’ll be going back to stay at Park Central.
