This hotel is pretty cool, and we go all the time. This time however, a cool guy by the name of Gustavo from the “Kidsdom” area shined as the best! He made my kids feel so welcomed and was always fun to be around. That said, he was also part of a pretty great team at the Kidsdom area. Our kids a little older now, and I’ve been coming to this resort for about 10 years and have seen the kids evolving to what I think is the best its ever been. If you have kids and want them to have some independent time playing and doing some fun activities, I recommend Gustavo and the great team he’s part of at Paradisus.

Outstanding clean resort. Restaurant food was great, with amazing activities and fun night life. Our concierge, George, was invaluable. He was extremely friendly, and did an AMAZING job scheduling our reservations. We will definitely be back!!

This was our 14th stay at this resort and we will be returning next year. The staff at Paradisus have always been professional and courteous whenever any kind of problem has arisen. This year the A/C in our bedroom wasn’t working correctly when we arrived. Someone was sent right after we called and the issue was resolved without delay. I would also give a shout-out to our Concierge, Raul. Raul made us feel welcomed, made dinner reservations at local restaurants and was helpful navigating certain activities we partook in. Raul certainly made the stay nicer. Since timeshare owners have the choice of taking the all-inclusive option or not we always opt out because we enjoy dining at local restaurants around Cancun. However, we had a nice lobster tail and seafood lunch at one of the day beds after participating in a presentation for their new vacation club, The Circle. The Circle didn’t seem like a good option for us and we didn’t buy a membership Frankly, we didn’t care for the hard sell tactics of their sales manager, Ricardo. That’s not the reason we didn’t join, but it didn’t make the experience pleasant either. This year it became apparent that Paradisus was making an extra effort to make their guests more comfortable. It’s obvious that the entire area is getting back to normal after the year of the COVID lockdown. Last year the staff was inexperienced and a bit confused. This year they’re back to the professionalism we’ve always experienced from them before. The only thing I would like to see improved is the WiFi which was very spotty in our room. It certainly isn’t a big problem because we’re on vacation. But I like reading the news and keeping up with sports. The spotty WiFi made that frustrating at times. Still, we’re looking forward to returning next year. Sitting on the beautiful beach under a palapa and soaking up the sun at Paradisus every year just makes our lives that much nicer.
