I wasn’t going to write a review as what’s the point when the hotel is closing down but I’m hoping that someone from the Palladium group may read this as lessons need to be learnt from a hotel that’s closing down and the way you treat your guests. This hotel should never have been sold as a 4 star all inclusive at the price we paid, it was no better than a two star in many areas. As many others have said the hotel was tired and desperately needed a refurbishment. Rooms were ok , nothing more but the beds were so uncomfortable so we didn’t have one good nights sleep. Pool area was ok but just needed TLC and repairs. The ‘lifeguard’ was unhelpful and rude unless you were a slim attractive woman of a certain age then he couldn’t do enough for you! The food was average for breakfast and lunch but the evening meal was utterly awful. We ended up eating out 5 out of the 7 nights even though we were all inclusive so had to spend money we hadn’t budgeted for. The meat was inedible, everything that was meant to be hot was tepid at best, nothing had any flavour and it seemed like they were just using up whatever they had left before they closed regardless of whether you could make a dish with it! The restaurant had no atmosphere and the staff seemed miserable in the most part. The all inclusive drinks were served in tiny plastic cups during the day so you had to keep going back and queueing. The inclusive wine was dreadful. The bar area was not welcoming. The air conditioning in in the public areas was non existent. The only people I want to give credit to are the 2 entertainment guys who did an amazing job in ensuring guests were entertained. As the hotel was closing down you should not have accepted new bookings knowing that you couldn’t maintain your 4 star standard. We only booked a couple of weeks before we arrived and if we’d known what service we would receive, we would never have booked. If this is how you treat customers then we will never try another of your hotels again nor recommend you to anyone else.

A well located adults only hotel next to a pleasant small beach. Most notable was cleanliness - all facilities at a high standard. Also the efficiency of the food service teams, breakfast in particular, was noteworthy. Room had a fantastic full sea view & balcony with handy drying rack. We enjoyed the local wines/beers/spirits. Helpful reception team. Only (small) issue was the double being 2 singles, but overall our deal felt good value for money.

Another pleasant stay at this hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Plenty of choice in the restaurant but no al a carte. Good entertainment in the evening and Milan to keep us amused during the day. The hotel is closing this week for refurbishment, but I hope it does not lose its character. The restaurant is noisy and has poor lighting so that needs upgrading. Bedroom suites are also poorly designed.
