Mixed, probably wouldn’t return

Very mixed opinions from us on this one. The hotel itself is nice enough and the staff were very friendly. The place needs some refurb work. It’s definitely not 4 star. We had a number of issues though: The jacuzzi had (cold) water in it for one day. The rest of the stay it was empty. The pool was not heated - the sea was warmer. On day 1 of our stay there was a photoshoot trying to take place. Guests were being asked to vacate the pool area so that photos could be taken. During this time was the only time we saw one of the outdoor beds with any linen on it. Oddly enough the repair man was trying to do some work around the pool for the shoot but nowhere else. The worst thing for us was that by day 3 of our stay we were asked multiple times what day and time we were leaving as they were closing the hotel on our last day of our booked stay. Ultimately the last day came around and we had to be out of the room, no services were in place after mid day. We couldn’t get a drink, the vending machines were emptied, tv’s taken off the walls. Also from mid day the end of year staff party began, leaving us in the lobby listening to them having a drunken time for 4 hours. We were advised we could collect our luggage from the luggage storage room when our transport arrive - but it was locked. We then were told we would have to go behind the reception desk ourselves to let the transport coach in the gate. Isidor was as helpful as he could be, but you could tell hotel management were worried about what was going on. Isidor arranged for us to have some lunch but we should not have been in the situation where lunch was needed to be arranged and left for a day without the service we paid for. Excellent Palladium Hotel in beautiful Cala Llonga

Amazing Hotel. The staff were friendly and the service good. We were all inclusive and the food was well prepared and varied. The drinks selection included some brand names which was a bonus. The hotel is next to the sea and just a minutes walk from the beach so ideally located. Top tips - take beach shoes as this will help you get in and out of sea by the hotel - it's very rocky and stoney. If you can take fold up mini beach chairs. The beach is sandy and beautiful and we were able to spend many hours there in comfort. Would recommend a stay at this hotel.

Yeah a good stay.

Firstly I'd like to say that we thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay and would recommend this hotel and resort our friends. We ended up all inclusive, which was unexpected. We had originally booked half board. The upgrade came because of a mess up with our room booking that meant the room we had booked was unavailable for the first 3 days of our stay. we were given 24 hours notice of this and an apology, but we never had an explanation as to how this happened. The hotel was nearing the end of the season but we didn't really feel that there was an air of 'end of term' about the place. However, the resort became increasingly quiet over the 2 weeks of our stay as various businesses closed for the season. We did go to Flippers a few times to watch football matches and enjoyed good tasty meals there. Back to the hotel. The food, which all buffet style, was pretty good. Samey on a daily basis but with loads of choice that one could easily choose something different every time if one wanted to. There was a short order chef on at all times to freshly cook eggs, omelettes, grilled meat and fish etc. The dining room staff were mostly very friendly and helpful. I'd particularly like to pick out Piedad and Jean who couldn't have been nicer. The drinks were fine and measures generous. The bar staff were largely nice and friendly and I'd particularly like to pick out Xavi and Abraham, who both went out of their way when serving. The evening entertainment was varied both in quality and genre. We particularly enjoyed the 5 piece Tina Turner/80's act. On the whole I'd say there was something for everyone, although I did find the way the room was set up did not really lend itself to getting up and dancing. Not too sure how it could be improved though. Once we were finally in our room, which was a deluxe sea view room with terrace and hot tub, we found it to be super comfy and well appointed. There was quality bed linen and towels, a safe, TV (that we didn't use as we couldn't find and English channels), kettle (which didn't pour well), good blackout curtains, comfy furniture in the room and on the terrace, but there was a weird smell when we went into the bathroom. Eventually reworked out that the water in the taps is desalinated sea water and it has a smell of the sea. It's also not good to drink unless you are used to it, better to fill up water bottles from the machines in the bars and dining room. The check in (I did complete an online check in form that had been emailed ahead of our arrival) and check out were handled well. During our stay any issue was dealt with swiftly and with a smile. There was a nice fresh smell in the common spaces, which were scrupulously clean. Hand sanitisers were provided in several locations on each floor and the chambermaid was very efficient and polite. The only reason we'd not go ack is because there are so many other places we want to visit, but if this is the standard of Palladium hotels we would definitely try another one.
