Palazzo Ferraioli Hotel & Wellness Center

The hotel is very nice and clean. Our room had a nice view. Their reception staff is very helpful. Carlo is a very pleasant and helpful gentleman. He is always smiling and willing to help the guests to bring up and down our luggage the almost 80 steps you need to take to get to the hotel. Call the hotel ahead of time and he will meet you down to help you with your luggage. The good thing about the steps is that we enjoyed all the delicious Italian food. We were able to eat everything we wanted since the calories were going to be burnt going up and down the hotel😃 The breakfast buffet is very good, it includes a variety of food and drinks. The girls working there are very attentive, helpful and delightful. We had a very good experience!

The hotel in itself is rather small, only elevator present only holds 2 people at a time and it’s available on the lobby floor, 72 flight of steps to get there. Don’t be fooled when in hotel description it says 72 steps to beach, it’s 72 flight of stairs with luggage. Instructions of getting to hotel where ok but omitting different ways to get there. For 2 ,50 euros we arrived by bus, hotel was willing to arrange private transportation for 80 euros per 2 people. When you arrive to meeting place on the beach, someone guides you up the 72 flights of stairs, he doesn’t help carry but then waits for tip when dropping luggage off in room. We did leave by ferry to Napoli, about a 2 hour boat ride which we took from amalfi. The hotel can arrange a golf cart to help with luggage at 60 euros, we did have a decent amount of luggage however we asked a nice taxi driver downstairs and only charged us 25euros to drop us at amalfi. One receptionist nicer than other , massage therapist very nice!

This hotel was a great location. I have seen other reviews which said that it was too many stairs and the elevator was small. If you've visited places like Greece, or others in the amalfi, this is the norm. However, once you catch your breath after climbing all those stairs, you are welcomed by a very friendly and helpful staff. I must mention to members specifically. First: Carlo was the absolute BEST!!!! BRAVO CARLO!!!! This hotel is lucky to have a person working for them who is always willing and at your disposal with all of your needs. PALAZZO FERRAIOLI, you are lucky to have him!!!!!! And 2nd: Chiara!!!!! I can't say enough about Chiara. From the start, she never stopped smiling and always so friendly. She was very patient with my poor italian. She was exceedingly helpful!!! Your hotelnis lucky to have these 2 specific employees. Please treat them well so they will still be here when I return!!!!
