One&Only Le Saint Geran

This hotel was long on our wish list and the experience was made very special for all of our family by the warm welcome. The hotel is classic, modern, elegant yet totally relaxed and authentic in its setting. Staff throughout (from reception, to restaurants, spa and management) were friendly and eager to help at every point. On arrival there was a cocktail reception where we met Arnaud and later Roman who were warm and welcoming and were clearly active in ensuring a smooth operation. The beach / lagoon is beautiful and the staff are very attentive. There was a great variety of water sports available which were included - we did sailing, pedalo boats and waterskiing. The instructors were very patient with our children also. The views from our room was beautiful. There was a great selection of activities for children on st all times of day which meant we got some couple time without feeling guilty! The breakfast buffet was one of the best we had seen in recent years and we also enjoyed a meal at Anne Sophie Pic, the hotels fine dining pop up. The cuisine level was as you would expect in Europe so we were very pleased to enjoy this quality of food in Mauritius. The concierge team were incredibly helpful throughout and helped us plan trips to local restaurants and the market. The gym and tennis facilities were also great - attention to detail on items such as ice coolers filled with water court side were very welcome. One and Only, Mauritius is an iconic hotel for a reason and we hope to visit again in the coming years. We now understand why it’s the reference point of excellence for hospitality on the island.

A wonderful week at the St Geran. Weather amazing and the staff still make this hotel one of the best in the world. We are repeat guests and have been coming back every few years over 20 years. A big thank you to the following people Ash, Marina and Micheline- you made our trip very special. Thank you to Miguel the amazing new tennis coach who is an asset to One & Only. Thank you to Sebastian the table tennis coach who was always happy to see us and give my son a game, sometimes twice a day! Housekeeping’s attention to detail first class thank you all especially Chetan and Baba. Thanks to Chef Vinay for the lovely meal on the last evening. The hotel keeps adding things and keeps evolving and improving as well as keeping an eye on what makes it special - Attention to detail & personal tailored guests service. We will keep returning.
