We only stayed in this hotel for one night before flying back to the UK. We wanted somewhere quiet and comfortable to enjoy a bit of rest and relaxation before the journey. Upon arriving we were welcomed by an eager to please, smiling, young staff who were always helpful. We were a little early so they sat us in the pool bar area where a welcome drink of prossecco mixed with lemonade was provided. The bar area plays music most of the day until 11pm. The room we had been allocated was adjacent to the bar and it wasn't possible to sit on the balcony without hearing it. I explained that I just wanted somewhere quiet. The staff offered the room next door and a room on the third floor. It was explained that the centre of the hotel was the pool bar so many of the rooms would be affected by the noise. Finally a room was found away from the bar for which I was thankful. This room overlooked the road and had a generator adjacent to it which hummed continuously but it was clean and welcoming and the bed was large and very comfortable. I have only allocated three stars to this accomodation as although it has the look of a cool, trendy boutique hotel it was, for me, more style over substance. My particular areas of dissapointment were - The shower and toilet each were in there own little cubicles in the room. They had opaque glass doors which lacked privacy. Similar doors were in the public areas and they did not have locks. - The shower leaked into the bedroom. - The toilet had an unpleasant drain smell. - A Nespresso type machine was provided for coffee drinkers. There is no provision for tea drinkers - The bar is expensive compared to the beach bar across the road where a beer can be bought for less than half the cost - The staff were keen to communicate via Whats App. I'm probably old fashioned but I prefer not to have my phone on when Im on holiday and felt this modern approach to be somewhat impersonal. - This was the only hotel that we stayed at on our trip that did not have a buffet breakfast and which charged for hot food. A tray of very nice cold foods is brought to your table. Fruit, pastries, yogurt etc. This was enough for me. However on three separate occaisions hot food that had been ordered by other tables was brought to our table by mistake so, whilst not a major issue, it was a bit haphazard. - The hotel is about 3.5 km out of the main town of Mykonos. It is too far to walk. No information is provided in the room regarding transport etc. However there is a small, decent beach across the road with a good beach bar and a small shop. Unfortunately it appears that a couple of the other beach bars have closed down and there are some unfinished building works behind the hotel which makes the area look a little sad.

A great stay of 4 nights. The staff is super friendly and provide a good atmosphere. The room (half house) was extraordinary and our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children -7 and 11) loved the place. Highly-recommendable.

Nimbus made our short stay in Mykonos incredible; the staff were super helpful and arranged our airport/ferry transport in-house. When they used external taxi companies, they made sure we weren't ripped off (our friends living next door were charged €90 for a 5 minute journey into town) The food was great and they catered to gluten-free requirements very well, which is better than most of greece. The views from the two public pools were sensational. And it was a shame we didn't get to try their wellness treatments but it looked great.
