What a disaster. Talked in to upgrade for more $. Shower didn’t work. Had to move to another nasty room and sheets were not clean. Spent 4-5 hours calling Hinton after the fact. They promised refund and happened so spent more time calling back.

The accommodations were wonderful. Stayed on the 32nd floor with a wonderful view. Staff were very nice particularly Jerick who checked us in. Access to lounge was a ni e touch greatly appreciated. Would definitely recommend this Hilton to others.

Let me start off by saying that this review would have been 1 star less had it not been for the overly polite and accommodating housekeeping and executive lounge staff. This small group alone did everything they could to make our trip enjoyable. Was never recognized as a Hilton Honors Diamond member when checking in - There was no complimentary room upgrade and to make matters worse, the room I selected through the Hilton App was not the room I was given. The room I had chosen was on the 43rd floor but when I checked in, i was told my room was on the 32nd floor and the desk staff argued with me and even out right lied by telling me the room I selected did not exist. The room was much smaller than my original selection. My wife went down and asked a question about why the executive lounge was closed for 3 days and was told "because it is". No apologies, no nothing. The hotel gives you a $18 food credit to be used in the hotel but what they don't tell you is the prices for food in the hotel are outrageous - $18 for a pre-made, reheated, soggy double cheeseburger (comparable to a McDonalds Double Cheeseburger) or a pre-made rubberized chicken sandwich. Want Breakfast? $49 for their breakfast buffet. Went to the lounge one evening only to discover they charged an extra $5 for the same exact food above. Due to my work, I have to come to New York a couple of times each year for a week or so and this is my second time at this hotel. When I come back in September, I might just try another hotel if this is how Hilton wants to treat their loyal customers..
