What a wonderful experience! The accommodations are luxurious (very cool blue-lighted shower), the gratis breakfast very generous, and the beach is gorgeous. The staff is very couteous, helpful, and knowledgeable. Our first floor room had a little background door patio and our own sunbeds on the beach just outside the patio. Our only complaints were the White Lotus style tour of the facilities and the fairly high food prices at the restaurants owned by the hotel (but there are other restauarants within a short walk).. We chose to stay in Ornos because Mykanos Town (Hora) has become completely over-run by bikers and ATV riders. An initial sense of isolation was easily overcome by the short drive up the road. The price of a room seems to be the most reasonably priced of all the new venues in Ornos. Very highly recommended. Poli kala!
We stayed at Mykonos Ammos for 4 nights between 19th-23rd September with a standard double room for our family (2 adults and baby under 1). Our room was immaculate, the hotel Is beautifully decorated, everything is modern looking with neutral colours giving a look of luxury to the hotel. It is located perfectly for families. You’re right on the beach with some fantastic restaurants close by. If you want to head into Mykonos town, the bus stops right by the hotel next to the beach. Here you can also book and board a water taxi which will take you to the beaches around Mykonos if you fancied a change of scenery. Above all though, the staff make this hotel. They were so accommodating for us, they gave us extra water to help sterilise our little girls bottles each day. They were on hand with any questions we had and recommended restaurants for us too. On our last day when saying goodbye to us, they gave our little girl a little toy to take home with her, such a thoughtful touch and really appreciated. All in all, I could not fault the hotel and their staff and we look forward to coming back!
Was here 5 years ago and it was a totally different place. Where as the property is lovely, the staff have become indifferent and rude. The noise is insane. The beach is bumper to bumper beach chairs with blaring music. The food not great. The perfect spot I remembered is totally gone. And they really don’t care! A real shame! Never coming back!
