Cracks are starting to show
This used to my favourite hotel in Miami for many years since the Morgan group owned it many moons ago and have stayed here many, many many times. My stay previously to the last stay wasn’t very good either but gave benefit of the doubt probably out of reminiscing of good times had! I had booked a 2 bedroom room for one night and think it was one of the privately owned apartments that Mondrian let out on the owners behalf otherwise I cannot for the life of me understand how the maintenance or management let the room out in the state it was. CSI Miami would have been proud of the many stains and previous DNA that were on the sofa! It was disgusting. Graffiti etched in the glass on the balcony, tiles missing in the bathroom, scratched broken sink in the kitchen.. I have seen cleaner student apartments!! The receptionist on listening to my account of the state of the accommodation just said ‘sorry about that’!! Days gone by this room would have never been let out would and would be mortified and so apologetic. Nada with this lot. This place used to be the hidden jewel on South beach and now if you scratch beneath the surface of the the glamorous plastic facade you will find a foundation which isn’t much better than the holiday inn.

A vibe
This place has a Gorgeous absolutely beautiful view of the Miami skyline .Nathalie the bartender Such a butterfly. She Made me a special drink off the top of her head. And it was MAGNIFICENT. guests/staff are so friendly. What a absolute vibe

We had a awesome time hanging out with Nathalie, at the bar very friendly. The energy she had was great 👍. Can't wait to come back to the hotel to enjoy some much needed rest. The view was very beautiful. We could see the cruise ship ,downtown Miami all the buildings. I would recommend the Mondrian to a friend.
