Mitsis Laguna Resort & Spa

It’s just a lovely hotel. From the moment you walk in you’re welcomed by the great hotel team. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and well appointed. Housekeeping is excellent, as are the restaurants and bars. Particularly the sushi and champagne bar - lovely setting and service.

It’s been a few years since our last visit and it was great to be back! As usual the staff were amazing, so friendly and approachable at any point in the day. Restaurant staff were great, we visited all of the a la cart (except the pop up) food was excellent quality and staff very attentive and happy. Portion sizes were generous and food was delicious. Our son was pleased that he could choose from either the main or kids menu as sometimes he can be a bit fussy. Food in the buffet restaurant was great too, quality, temperature and a wide choice. My criticism would be that in the buffet restaurant we didn’t seem to have a choice of wine but that’s fine as we were not far from the fantastic bar. We rarely had to wait to be served at any of the bars and the choice of cocktails was good. When asking for something specific nothing was too much trouble. We visited the sushi bar and were able to sit outside the adults only section as a family and enjoy dining as a family. Our room was located in the family block which wasn’t too far from the kids pool so great for us. Our son was quite tired in the evenings so we didn’t make the most of evening entertainment, but he loved the magic show. As we were so close to the stage it was a little loud after he’d gone to bed so maybe we will request a different room in another building next time. My other criticism would be that it would have been nice to have a couple of extra pillows in the wardrobe, but I should have asked really and I wasn’t able to get my hands on a Mitsis beach bag as they’d all been distributed…maybe next time! We never had a problem finding three sun loungers at any point in the day either on the beach, by the kids pool or at the main pool, and we didn’t see people getting up at the break of day to reserve any. Housekeeping was great and super polite, they always came round with extra towels and other bits in the evening and the beds sheets were clean and tidy and mini bar always stocked. The shops in the hotel are great, lots of choice in the mini-market and some lovely souvenirs. The clothing and jewellery stores also very good with window displays changing very regularly. The arcade was also a hit with my son and he was pleased to come away with some nice prizes. Overall we had a great stay with fantastic weather- thanks so much for another memorable year Laguna!

This is our fourth time at Laguna and the best. Our room was super, well serviced with fresh water and drinks. The grounds and pool areas are beautiful. And the sunbed reserving issue was well managed which is a plus so we never had an issue getting beds. The breakfast buffet was great with plenty of of variety and good quality. We ate at the restaurants for dinner which I much prefer or dinner buffet. Plenty of food options during the day too and good drinks service around the pool - the waiters work hard! We also had a couple of kids with allergies in our party and they were superbly managed with attention from the chef and nutrition adviser. Entertainment was good and they team make a real effort. Particularly the DJ and fireworks!! We tended to have drinks in the night bar which is pretty chilled and thanks to the team there for great cocktails and service! The sports programme is new (since we were last there in 2022) and really comprehensive. Violetta did a great job! All the staff are warm, welcoming and friendly. Brilliant experience overall and I’m sure we’ll be back!
