Not just another five star resort in the Maldives, at Milaidhoo, we like to do things differently: it’s called reinvented luxury. We don’t think of our guests as holidaymakers but as storywriters, crafting their dream holiday, and this is where your story of a small island begins. Opened in November 2016, Milaidhoo is a boutique luxury resort in the Baa Atoll UNESCO biosphere reserve, close to Hanifaru Bay, 126km north west of Male. We’re perfect for nature lovers as our own coral reef, which encircles the island, is a protected area and noted as an outstanding snorkelling and diving site in its own right. Our tiny beautiful island, abundant with tropical greenery, measures just 300m by 180m and is fringed by soft deep white sand beaches.

Great food, wonderful house reef (we saw turtles, octopuses, sharks and thousands of colorful fishes!!), helpful staff and very comfortable water villa! Unforgettable sunsets)) Highly recommend to everybody👍🏻 Want to come back again💓
My husband and I spent a wonderful 14 day holiday in Milaidhoo in the last 2 weeks of January 2023 We were welcomed to Milaidhoo by the team with a refreshing coconut drink and shown to our spacious villa over the water. Our island host, Anth was charming and spoke to us every day to make sure all was well. She was on call at any time for anything we needed. Our room host, Ishan and his team made sure our room was made up perfectly every day usually in the time it took us to have our breakfast! The villa was large, light and airy with high ceilings and a massive bathroom with large shower and bath, ample space for clothes, suitcases etc out of the way, mini bar and free tea and coffee facilities The deck was large too with a well cushioned sofa swing, (I sank into that every day), with some much needed shade as temperatures were 28-31 degrees There were a few steps down into our personal infinity pool with views of the sea beyond but if you prefer to swim in the sea each villa has their own steps from the deck too The island is small but perfect and can be walked around in about 30 minutes but it was always easy to stop for a dip or snorkel in the water on the way round or drop into the pool bar for a drink Milaidhoo has 3 restaurants, the Ocean serves breakfast on a deck with wide views over the lagoon The breakfast buffet was a massive array of all the foods you could possibly want as well as cooked breakfast dishes from the menu. I loved the ginger and fruit shots that were offered each morning The Ocean also served lunch and dinner. Three dhoni boats make up the delightful Ba’theli restaurant which sits in the lagoon and is reached by a long wooden bridge. The menu is Maldivian and I would suggest the tasting menu which was just out of this world. The third restaurant was The Shoreline Grill which served more meats and fish We tried all 3 restaurants and we loved them all The pool bar was the place to gather in the evening to see the sunset and fruit bats flying and enjoy an array of cocktails before dinner The dress was informal and relaxed. If you feel you need for some exercise there is a well-equipped gym or for more relaxed exercise, a pool table in the adjoining room We used the over water spa for massages, each one was different, and I enjoyed every one Nothing was too much trouble, the hosts were there when you needed them but were otherwise discreet and we couldn’t fault the food, service, spa or location. We would 100% recommend Milaidhoo, go, relax and enjoy the holiday peace and quiet.
A truly amazing place!!! From the very first beginning until departure it was just perfect. We have never felt so well treated as with you in Milaidhoo. The Villas, the house reef and the food in 4 different restaurants could not be better. Service quality at its best and a stunning location. A very special thank you goes to our host Yenny, Looking forward to come back!!!
