Sleepless night yet again at the Malmaison - Woken up squeaky floorboards and internal doors banging during the night then by vehicles unloading. Hotel rooms are nice but communal spaces need a face lift. Reception team are lovely but reception is very dreary. Will avoid for future business stays.
We were well looked after, staying a couple of nights here to attend an SEC concert. The bedroom was a good size but still cosy if a little dark. Fresh milk in the room for making tea is alwaya appreciated. Breakfasts was relaxed with a great range of choices including some ccoked to order as well as a large buffet. Front-of-house staff warmly welcoming and knowledgeable too. Note that the SEC venue is within walking distance, but the return journey is predominantly up hill.
lovely hotel in a great location for business and sight-seeing. lovely staff and great food and drink served in their restaurant. breakfast was also lovely with a great choice of food cooked freshly to order.
