Majestic Colonial Punta Cana

The resort was very nice and clean, from the common areas to our room. People are always cleaning. The pool area was well kept. The beach was nice with palapas. It's a long walk from the main building to the beach. The drinks at the bars were only so-so. A lot of no-name alcohol in the mixed drinks. Must ask for name brand liquor. We tipped a dollar or two on every order and got very good service at the lobby bar and by the pool. The food was only average. We can always find something to eat at the buffet from the different food stations but nothing really stands out. It got repetitive by mid-week. Only The Dominican Caribbean specilty restaurant was very good. Went back a second time. The wait staff everywhere were excellent. They were nice and attentive. Our room with two beds was comfortable. The rainfall shower was spacious but as you try to step out to dry off..wetting the slippery tile floor, you have to use a towel to step on (no mat). TV had limited satelite /cable service with mostly spanish stations. There were some english speaking Miami stations and some sport channels. The casino was only a few tables and a few machines. Not worth the effort. They had a band or a singer performing most nights for a couple of hours. In the evening . Overall a good vacation.!

What an incredible trip!! It was such a wonderful experience being at this resort. The staff are incredible, the buildings and all the spaces are just absolutely beautiful, and you never feel crowded despite there being a ton of people. The beach is well taken care of and the resort grounds in general. It's really nice to have the adult side, including the adult pools with pool bars, where you can just relax quietly! We had Angel for our butler, and he was just the most wonderful person. He would check in every day, always being attentive with our needs or wants. Even when my fiancé wasn't feeling well, he helped me locate some meds and their prices since I wasn't familiar with the resort. The buffets and restaurants were also incredible. Everything is displayed so beautifully but it also all tastes amazing! It was nice to have the couple reservations, but we were honestly so impressed with the options at the buffet! Drinks too, all the bars made great drinks and have multiple options. We met many couples who only go back to this resort (or even the sister resorts), which just goes to show the amazing reputation of this resort. I'd be so happy to go in the future!!

Love this resort from start to finish. Absolutely amazing. Staff are all friendly, funny , and comforting. All the activities , food, hotel , pool , etc… just worth every penny. Advice for anyone planning to come here. ask for a double shot every time , you won’t regret it .
