Maison Astor Paris, Curio Collection by Hilton

It was apparantly the 10th time I have stayed here. Staff always super kind, and the congierge is a walking bible on all there is to know on food and culture. Rooms are spacious and super clean. Great location and very nice building. Highly recommended.

Seems as hotel is eager to say a big firm No for tiniest reasons. Booked it for 5 nights. There was a mix up with my account and my business partner’s account, my office made the reservation with his account, and I was denied any Hilton Elite member benefits because my partner was not here, even though I myself have Elite Gold membership and my partner is a diamond member. This kind of ruined the whole impression of this hotel. While I was in the lobby, other guests asked for an extended check out and guess what they received - a big firm NO. By the way if you read responses from the hotel, the hotel never offers any solutions to the guests, just either blames the guests “sorry, but you did this and that” or says “thank you for your comment, we will improve” and doesn’t improve anything.

Excellent hotel in a good location. A bit off the beaten path in a more commercial area (near Le Madelaine), but two blocks away from more activity. The result is that the hotel is very quiet. We had the smallest room, but it was well laid out and had good storage. Only problem was the tub (with the shower) was the narrowest ever. Staff was always friendly and helpful. The concierge had good recommendations for restaurants. Breakfast was outstanding. The porter/doorman was very friendly and helpful. Will happily return.
