I was very surprised to see this hotel so highly rated all over the internet and also marketed as a 4 or 5 star hotel even. The suite we got was nasty. I've never been in a hotel like this that was so dirty, even budget hostels or 1 star motel or hotels. Stains everywhere on the floor, walls, furniture. Looked like someone spit coffre and vomit all over the place or that there had been an incident of some sort in the room. It wasn't worth the cost, but I suppose Vegas prices was the factor. Never again will I stay here. Such a regretful decision but at least Vegas was a great time overall.
Loved the spacious rooms. However paying 132.00 for RESORT FEES, when this is not a resort is frustrating 😑 phoned and spoke to manager Sigmund and he reiterated 5 times this is for wifi, valet service and gym! Laughable....we didn't have a car, wifi and gym are amenities that should come with the room. Sigmund never offered anything for our Dissatisfaction. Has this hotel heard of customer service?? Keeping guests happy so they come back? Unreal.
At arrival we were told that we could use several Pools on site. Searching around to find only 1 pool open where all kinds off guests were gathered. Man with beers and other drink in hand IN the pool, babies in diapers on the other side. A mix of differences. The MGM pool was a 15 minutes walk from our (Luxury) Suite... Valet parking at Tower 3 where we stayed, closed early evening so we had to walk to another tower mostly when we needed our car. In the (Luxury) room; We had to order kitchen equipment to use in the kitchenette and pay 34 dollars for that. Only 1 coffeespoon came with the rest of the cutlery. No Dish Washer, so hand wash luxury only... Hate that when on vacation. As we were on a roadtrip for more than one month, we stayed in several hotels. Even in the Rodeway Inn the carpet has not as much dirty stains than the one in this Luxury Suite. When we took the pillows from the headboard of the bed, another dirt stain become vissible including a large piece from the (leather) upholstery of the headboard... nasty! Seats, chairs and other furniture also had multiple stains and/or burnt spots from cigarettes... Windows (inside) and shelves were dirty and at first sight had not been cleaned for months. There was a broken piece in the refrigerator door that no longer closed properly. As a result, a thick layer of ice in the freezer compartment so that only a few centimeters of the freezer could be used... The coffee maker was filthy inside and out with coffee residue in the pot. We also encountered thick layers of dust in various parts of this (Luxury) suite. The shower head was covered in a thick layer of lime. In the drawer of the table we found empty packages of medicines and receipts dating from July (we stayed here from September 29 to October 4. Called shortly after check in to raise these issues. The Signature desk said this was not their problem and should contact LSIResorts. The lady of LSIResorts said she couldn't do anything as there was no cleaning service anymore. However, a cleaning crew was busy in the adjoining room. No other room was available. When asked if we could get extra towels or so, to shield the seats of chairs and seats, we got the answer that we had to pay extra for that... The next day we received a phone call from a man who told us that we could still get extra towels for free. A three-man cleaning crew even showed up with an abundance of cleaning utensils. Since we didn't feel like waiting for the freezer to defrost and the room to be cleaned while our products were already in the fridge and all suitcases and material from our entire trip had already been stored in the room and the self-cleaned closet, we thanked them for that. To say the least, we had expected a little more luxury at The Luxury Suites at the MGM Signature for nearly $900...
