Luxury Bahia Principe Runaway Bay All Inclusive, Adults Only

34 of our family and friends went for 8 days. Staff was friendly, rooms are clean, great employees. Pro: Friendly Staff and clean facilities! Cons: All inclusive was a joke, hard to reserve restaurants and no access when they was only 25% full at best, adult side constantly out of beer, liquor and wanting to substitute crap drinks instead. Go to family side with adult band and they want to up charge for drinks that they have liquor for that the adult side is out off! Place needs some management changes, go ahead and prove me wrong!

I stayed on the Luxury side the last week of February 2023. Going in, having read reviews, I was hoping some of the reviews were not accurate. To say the least, I have no idea what there is to complain about. I had been here in 2018, so this was a return visit. The food was outstanding everywhere I ate. I was able to book 6 a la cartes, Dolce Vita ( Ken Roy), The Knife twice (Anthony Palmer - the absolute best server we ran into, remembered us the next night when we were there at Don Pablo and made sure we had the best seat in restaurant, the patio with the sun setting), Picasso (Nikita), Rodizio ( Hushane and Gwayne), and Don Pablo (Alex Paddyfoot- who went out of his way to ensure that my birthday meal was everything I could hope for). The River Falls bar had amazing staff as well. Jermaine became my go to guy. I had an excllent massage on the beach with Kimone The staff at this resort are always going out of their way to make sure that their guests feel welcome an at home while staying with them. My butler, Shanice, made me so happy with the birthday sign on my door, and then birthday wishes spelled out on my bed. The cleanliness of this resort is outstanding. It was so much fun to again get to snorkel in the "lagoon". I had forgotten how many different kinds of fish there were. One day, much to the delight of those on the beach, there was a small octopus! When my time there came to an end, I really was disappointed that I had not booked a longer stay. I will be back!

This review is not for the resort as a whole but for the specific Saturday night beach party. Sorry to say it hasn't started yet, and i have already got a bad taste. The band starts at 7. Bar opens at 8. Only seats are vip for extra cost. So a lot of people walked to the beach dressed in white, ready for a party, turned round, and went back to the hotel. What do you think there opinion of the brand is?
