I had a good experience in this hotel, very nice rooms and confortable beds, lovely amenities and a good level of service in general, breakfast guys were so helpful all the time, the only thing I didn't love about this hotel is the bathroom they are a bit old doesn't match the rooms, apart from that everything was perfect.

This is maybe a 3 star hotel. 1) was told that hotel was much closer to underground stations than reality 2) towels like sand paper 3) bathroom tired and old 4) trying to turn on the shower was annoying 5) room smelled like an ashtray 6) some people at front desk nice and helpful, others not so much 7) doorman didn’t know the neighborhood and couldn’t point us in the right direction to the underground 8) cable tv stations super limited 9) buzzing sound coming from fan/AC unit, was told it could not be fixed and to just not use it 10) bed actually comfortable

I was a frequent guest at this hotel at least 35 nights a year but It seems to continue going down hill. While it was far from perfect it was a good mid range smaller Marriott well located in London. The rooms were small but functional and had been modernized. Frequently there were problems with at least one elevator but you could live with that as the gym and pool were good and the lounge was not bad. No the gym is aging, the pool is gone and the lounge is closed. The bar now doubles as the lounge. The AC didn’t work in a lot of rooms and they had portable heaters! Even as a Platinum Elite no upgrade and no respect for your profile requests even after checking in at 0700 am on the App. The only saving grace was a reasonable rate but that is only because it is low season. Disappointing for a hotel that I one loved to stay in….
