Nice hotel, close to the beach, 800 m from the old city. The only remark is that beds were bit uncomfortable, but the room was clean and the food was really good and tasty. Staff was helpful. A good place to stay if you like to walking to the old city and fortress, but all nice beaches, such as Cactus beach, are just few minutes away, walking distance.
The hotel Lefkoniko beach located in a good area, very close to sea and old town. If You like shopping, bars, restaurants this is the right location for You. Retimno is ideal location in case You are planning to go to south or west of Crete (located in the middle of Crete, so it is easier approach other destinations). The staff oh the hotel are very friendly and take a good care of the quests. Nice food, every day cleaning.
A very nice hotel, that is close to the beach. The staff was friendly and we were able to ask them for anything we needed. The breakfast and dinner were super tasty and had a variety to choose from. I particullary enjoyed the feta and olives even as a person that is not a fan of olives in general. Our room had this antique feel to it and we loved it, because it felt more authentic. Only the beds could be softer, but the nice cleaning ladies provided us with softer mattress topper. The streets were very much alive all the nights, so if you want to get a good sleep, i would suggest keeping the balcony closed during the night. There was an awesome magic show one evening by the poolside of the hotel. Most days we spent doing activities outside the hotel.
