When it comes to hotels, what defines luxury? What makes for a pleasant stay? At lebua, we have our own ideas. Firstly space something so luxurious, and all too rare. Not here at lebua, every room is a suite, with a separate bedroom, bathroom, living area and balcony.
And second, simplicity an elegant blank slate of a suite, with everything you need to stay comfortably and in style. We seem to be onto something, because our guests have voted us #1 in Thailand in the Conde Nast Traveler Reader’s Choice Awards. Their vote of confidence tells us that they appreciate the same things we do: good beds with luxurious linens, impeccable service and plenty of room to breathe. And of course those views. All suites have private balconies from which to appreciate sweeping city vistas.

solid choice in Bangkok
++ --> we came here mainly for the views, and were not disappointed --> as expected from a 5 star hotel in Thailand, great personnel and service --> location is fine, close to the skytrain and many local restaurants nearby --> huge breakfast buffet --> room was ready ahead of the official check-in time - - --> entrance is a bit confusing, fine for cars but not pedestrian friendly --> lobby is a bit small for such a large property, can get crowded easily --> no showers/locker rooms at the pool We will certainly come back next time we’re in Bangkok.

Lebua has changed
This was my third time at Lebua. I chose the hotel in order to celebrate my birthday. I wanted to sleep in but at 9.16 am a maid rang the door bell and asked if she could clean the room. That should not be allowed. The club lounge, which I used to enjoy is not what it used to be. A club lounge is supposed to be an area where one can relax, a place of some sophistication. Forget it. Please don't dress up. Be loud, wear sneakers and you will fit right in. At some moments I even had problems having a conversation with my wife. Don't get me wrong. I love Lebua, the amazing rooms, the amazing breakfast and amazing staff make it one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. But it feels they cater more to tours now. Of course money is important and whatever direction the hotel chooses in the future, good luck to them. But don't pretend to be exclusive if this is not so anymore. During the check in process they emphasize repeatedly the importance of the dress code. I wish they would hang out in the lounge at 5.30 pm to get a real feeling of the product they are promoting.

great stay in Bangkok!
Definitely, the best hotel I've ever stayed! Gergeous yet comfortable room, nice breakfast with a wide variety of dishes. And above all, the hotel staff were excellent with great hospitality! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bangkok! とても素晴らしいホテルです。ルーム、 食事、 スタッフの方々、どれをとっても一流です！
