Located at 18 rue Clément Marot, a few steps from Avenue Montaigne, this 5-star spa hotel combines the excellence of the French hotel industry with the charm of a private mansion where Parisian spirit and contemporary luxury are combined.
Behind its majestic Haussmannian façade, this timeless address – with its bistronomic restaurant, hidden bar and Thalgo Institute – invites you to experience Paris. From the outset, the large lobby gives the measure of the perfect balance between luxury and simplicity. Between lightness and carefreeness, like the sumptuous chandelier made of feathers which responds to the flowery frescoes and the dozens of bouquets scattered around. With the intimacy it exudes, La Demeure Montaigne is an unclassifiable and intimate place, which welcomes epicureans and lovers of Paris.

I loved everything. The lobby, my floor, and my room smelled amazing, super clean and very tastefully decorated. Spa is gorgeous and so helpful after all day walking. Room is smaller but beautiful. Hotel is about 15 min walk from Eiffel Tower, 10 min ride to the Louvre, and within 30 min ride to other attractions. I would absolutely stay again.

A great boutique hotel, great location to the key shopping areas of Paris. Room was a treat, well designed and beautifully decorated. Shame the wet facilities were not available at the time of my stay. however the hotel made up for this by upgrading my room.

In short, my wife and I would not recommend this hotel for the following reasons; 1. We booked a valentines package booking which included a treatment for both of us. My wife was denied her treatment due to being pregnant. We were not informed in advance this would be a problem. Perhaps we would’ve booked another hotel that would accommodate her pregnancy if we had known it to be a problem. 2. Our room was like a sauna on check-in, air conditioning was apparently programmed remotely and needed a technician to change it. We checked in on a Saturday and it was only possible to change the air conditioning on Monday. Obviously, no weekend maintenance around. Was offered a Dyson fan the first two nights to help with the room temperature. 3. House-keeping team took my wife’s bikini from our room when cleaning the bathroom. Obviously it was a mistake, it must have got wrapped up in the dirty laundry when the bathroom was cleaned in the evening but when queried with front desk the conversation was uncomfortable. It felt like we were accusing them of taking it. Hotel staff bought some other persons swim wear to us asking if it was ours - it was nothing like how we described it. After that it took a few conversations and escalation to get them to look again. They did eventually find it however. Not much of an apology either. 4) As a gesture of good will for point 1, the hotel did give us a discount one night, a small treat in the room and breakfast the next day, which was nice of them but didn’t make us feel satisfied overall. We didn’t think the breakfast was good and were glad we didn’t add it to our booking at 30 EUR per person per day. It’s overpriced for the small range of items they offer and the quality is very average. In light of the above, the service, price and quality of the hotel fall below the expectations one has of a 5 star hotel. Sadly, we wouldn’t come back here again.
