La Clef Louvre Paris

This was my first stay in Paris, I was having a solo trip and heard a lot about the thieves and how some hotels aren't clean enough or don't treat the nonfrench people well.. But this hotel was the opposite. The location was excellent because it's near one of the best shopping streets in Paris, the staff was extremely friendly, the room was more than perfect where you can see its wide comparing it to other Parisian hotels, you can use the kitchen for cooking your own dishes (I didn't need that because I don't know how to cook😂). Overall this trip was a great experience because of this hotel. I highly recommend you to choose it, even though it's a bit expensive.

La Clef Louvre (aparthotel) is a hidden gem in the glossy area of Paris next to the Louvre. A 5 minute walk to the museum and the Tuileries, 10 to the Seine, its central location is ideal. The hotel itself is an understated delight, clad in tones of gray, with a quiet lobby off the Rue de Richelieu. Upon entering this historic building, you are greeted by a professional, multi-lingual staff who see to your every need with discreet competence. Our room was on the 6th floor, and boasted a wraparound balcony with table and chairs, and a view of Haussmann architecture. We were above the city noise and felt immediately at home. Our room had a large kitchenette, washer/dryer and a fridge. We enjoyed many leisurely hours sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine and baguette. There is a Nespresso machine for the first cup of coffee, and an excellent breakfast area just off the lobby. The large beds are comfortable, and the bathroom gleaming. We felt very lucky to have chosen La Clef Louvre over several better-known, nearby luxury hotels. The atmosphere, amenities and gracious staff suited us to a 'T'. I would recommend La Clef Louvre to anyone tired of the 'big-box' corporate- sameness of luxury hotels these days. We plan to return on our next Paris outing.

The staff was very accomodating for my early arrival, efficient, always smiling and greeting me. The front desk staff were charming, and management was helpful in extending my stay! I had the most wonderful time in Paris, my room was beyond what I could have hoped for. It was clean, quiet and really just perfect. I had flowers and the cleaning staff brought me a vase without me needing to ask. I'd say the best experience I've had in Paris or anywhere really!!! I will be back soon and each time I travel to Paris La Clef Louvre will be my first choice! The location is amazing as well, I really felt like I lived in Paris for a week! I was working part of the time and the wifi was excellent, never had any problems.
