We made the decision to change our original reservation at Jumeirah Beach Hotel to Al Qsar due to the current construction work being undertaken at the beachfront & all I can say is that we are so happy that we did! From the point of arrival, the stunning approach with the Arabian Horse statues & the simply stunning lobby, everything surpassed our expectations. We had a Club room which meant access to the Palace Lounge for breakfast, complimentary afternoon tea & sundowners - it was the staff here that really made our holiday something super special & we really can’t thank them enough. The level of service they offer, from trainees right up to management level is beyond incredible. We were made to feel like family. The delightful Assistant Manager Virginia & each & every one of the following staff really do all need a special mention, so I will name them here; William, Evita, Aisuluu, Jason, Emily, MonaLiza, Anjit, Yunita, Lucia, Bibi & of course Chef Rashid. I really really hope I haven’t missed anyone! These guys take the time to get to know you, spend time with you, remembering your preferences, always greeting you with a smile & forever asking if we needed anything else, I genuinely shed a few tears when we had to leave! We are pretty friendly people & love to interact with those who are working to give us a great stay & we had some wonderful chats with all of the named staff above, we looked forward to seeing them all every day! Their attention to detail was off the scale & the service was impeccable. Customer Service has deteriorated so much post Covid especially in the hospitality sector but not here, in fact, it’s like they’ve revved up a gear! Nothing was ever too much trouble from sourcing kiwis for breakfast, cucumber slices for sore eyes after a long day in the sun & takeaway ice for drinks in our room, it was just perfect. Check out was also a dream with MonaLiza making making everything so smooth. The setting in the Palace Lounge is beautiful, serene yet stylish & all the food is divine! Drinks are plentiful & delicious . There’s literally not one thing to improve on at this part of the hotel. Our room was also absolutely beautiful, traditional Arabic castle style with elegant contemporary touches & all of the the hotel including the beach is luxurious, stunning & extremely comfortable. The housekeeping staff were out of this world…our room was immaculately cleaned & turned down every day & evening & our belongings placed so perfectly tidily (not that we’re messy!) it really took my breath away each day. Beach serving staff & beach bar cocktails also deserve a mention as they worked tirelessly to ensure we always had everything we needed! The one & only criticism we had with our whole stay was the restaurant Pier Chic - we went there on our last trip to Dubai over a decade ago & loved it so we were really looking forward to it. The location is beautiful with views of The Burj Alarab etc but the menu is limited to say the least, very sad for an establishment with the extensive cuisine of Italy at its heart! The food was also a massive let down, bland, tasteless or the opposite, overpowered with one flavour only (octopus carpaccio totally ruined by too many sun dried tomatoes). This hotel is the epitome of luxury & impeccable service, I cannot recommend them highly enough & we cannot wait to return next year. Thank you so much all at Al Qsar!
On the fence here!! Stay normally at the Mina Salam, but have worked our way through all of the hotels in Jumireh Madinat. Thought we’d try the Al Qasr as it’s just been fine up. Opted for what we normally take in Mina Salam, Club Room with the lounge access. Well Positives First …Palace (Premium Lounge) lovely lounge , little quieter than Mina Salam & Jumireh Beach but that’s not an issue for us. Staff lovely and attentive. Negative ; Lack of view and atmosphere. Hotel great no negatives at all Lovely pool especially if you have kids. Great location, Bar Buci was great staff again lovely, Hide restaurant was great but very quiet, food lovely. Rooms… Rooms was a great size and all you could want in it! BIG BIG NEGATIVE was the view, we have now stayed in Madinat 9 times and this was far in away the worst view!! We had booked an Arabian Club Room, the same eom booked many times before in Mina Salam. This time awful view, overlooking trees at front on the hotel, not a sea view, waterway view in site!! I asked immediately can I change this but was told no other rooms available . I tried again for 3 days and then gave up!! VERY VERY POOR for Club rooms. Which despite all the positive things about this hotel, would put me off staying in a Club room again. Jumireh should be aware of what they are charging repeat customers for, this was most unacceptable. Beach hotel with no beach view !! Madinat Jumireh is not cheap but it’s the best by a long way. But for us would not stay in the club rooms again in this hotel.
One of the best holidays I ever had. Great team and lovely rooms. The private beach is so amazing.. We have the Jumeirah membership and we are enjoying that to the max 🎶🧿💃🏻🧿 Strongly recommended 🧿🏝️
