Reception From the moment we checked in just after midnight with our family and friends, I noticed how swift and clean the hotel was. I loved how it smelt of incense and was very Arabian and how grand it was. I particularly enjoyed seeing the smiles of the receptionists even though we had just landed in the wee hours of the morning They have a lobby decorated with beautiful flowers which was popular for ‘selfies’ and photos. The concierge team who worked considerately and respectfully throughout the day. The salespeople who greeted you as you went past their shops daily and wear a beautiful smile enlighten the day . Bedroom The bedrooms were very modern and grand with an Arabian twist and came with a stunning view. The balcony had a view over the rear lake . The buildings and the hotel itself is a testament as to where you are but also with a hint of escapism in the form of the beautiful palm trees. I loved how the table and the bedroom looked very inviting as it consisted of a pot with berries and dates inside them. I appreciated the bottles of water in the bathroom and next to our bedside which were replenished every day and on your request. We were also provided with complimentary chocolates and after sun lotion which my nephew greatly appreciated ! Paradise Lounge The Paradise Lounge which is on level 1 (past the buggy station) is a haven of fresh food and drinks extending into the long evenings I appreciated how the buffet was neatly arranged with intercontinental cuisine and consisted of my favourites such as Avocado on toast with diced tomatoes. Whatever you asked for, they would provide it for you. I appreciated getting to know the afternoon tea servers and the evening servers who also worked tirelessly at your call. I commend all of you for working so hard and your kindness and your beautiful present on the last day. It really meant a lot and we shall miss you. Buggy stations Thank you to each and everyone of the drivers who had a laugh with us and drove us again tirelessly in the heat back and forth and on the boats to the J Club and the beach and Wild Wadi theme park. We understand that communication was difficult for you but we commend you too. If only there was a system in place to ensure a smooth flow of the guests being transported from the theme park such as deploying more buggies at the most popular times would certainly help the guys ie, Julius taking the onus off him. By the way if you would like to know the beautiful melodies tune they play in the reception it is called, Hot Oasis, Wadi el Melok. Shukran to everyone who made our stay a pleasant one and are fortunate to be working for one of best hotel chains in the world. Hopefully we will see each other soon. 👍.
