Welcome at Reception was very warm with Noah and Jorge (who handles suitcases). Junior Suite was very nice, view over river and sea. Beds rather hard, but good for us. Only few wall outlets in the room; I missed a reading light next to the bed. Bathroom was good but we think: not enough light, I missed a magnifying mirror, but after asking at Reception, it was brought right away. Very nice always to have enough Nespresso cups. But only bottled water first day… Our chambermaid Alicia was very good and was also very kind. At Reception we spoke to Nanda often. She was very kind and gave good service! As well as Niema and Noah. The rugs next to the bed were much too slippery. We shoved them under the bed. There was a rug hanging on the wall as decoration. We didn't think it was 'fresh'. Must have been very dusty. Better: a painting or something similar. We missed a small (collapsible) laundry rack on the balcony. For wet swimwear or small laundry. At reception they said we could hang it over the balustrade? Really?? That could fall off and is not a nice sight in a 5* hotel. In other hotels they don't want you to hang anything over the railing... We always have small racks on the balcony, at Spain’s islands… (Balearen, Canarian). Pool terrace was nice with always enough sunbeds and a very kind ‘poolman’, also helpful with parasols/umbrellas! Great to get clean towels there every day. But not good for laundry and environment… We could have easily used 1 towel per person per two days. Food & drinks: can’t say much about those. Hardly took them. We had self-catering and had thought about buffet/dinner once in a while, for example if it would be rainy. But € 79 per person for a buffet-dinner?? Incredible. How can one eat for that tariff? And then with wine & water: would have been over € 200 for dinner. We had good dinners in Santa Eulária, even in ‘neighbour hotel’ Grand Palladium. Never over € 110 and many times around € 70-90, including water and around a few glasses of wine. Usually we like to have a coffee during the day at a poolbar, or a drink in the afternoon, but we really do not want to pay almost € 12 per glass! And coffee almost 5 is too much as well. Prices for drinks and dinner are too high. We only had lunch one time in the poolbar. Food was good, price was just okay. Would have gon ether more often if prices for drinks would be lower. We are used a bit higher tariffs for drinks in 5* hotel, but Fenicia Prestige ‘beats’ them all. At the end we were grateful that we could keep the room until 18h00 upon departure day. Also here, tariff € 105 is the highest we ever paid for keeping a room. In general we think the hotel is good. Staff very kind, poolterrace good and jr suite nice. But paying 345 per night for room only, without any food, is really overprized. So we don’t know if we would return to your hotel if we would come back at Ibiza. We like Santa Eulà ria. Nice restaurants and (small) shops. Very nice, handcrafted ice cream parlour: Heladeria Antarctica (or Ice Ice Baby) aan de Paseo Maritim. Had too much of them...

We stayed at Insotel Fenicia Prestige Hotel which is a 5* Hotel on a Half Board basis. The Rooms and Swimming Pool area were lovely. The Hotel is situated at the beginning of the Resort so you do have a short walk to the main area of Bars and Shops. I don't think this Hotel warrants a 5* and would not choice the Half Board option as the food was limited and not to the standard I have received in other 5* Hotels. In the time that we stayed there I do not recall any evening Entertainment. There is a separate Restaurant Sa Talassa which is open for hotel guest and outside reservations. We eat here on one occasion using the Half Board offer!!! of 50euros a head. It was not worth it especially as we could have eaten for free as part of our package or gone to the Harbour and eat for far less. Santa Eulalia is a lovely Bay in Ibiza, there are plenty of restaurants and shops. The promenade is flat and well paved. We travelled by Bus to Ibiza Town which is about 35 minutes and Es Cana with is above 15 minutes

This is how a hotel should be run. The friendliest staff, great rooms, brilliant pool area and the attention to detail showed. Would recommend to anyone. The choice of offerings at the breakfast and evening buffets covered most tastes, and the beds were just superb.
