What a fantastic hotel; I cannot recommend it highly enough. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a complimentary glass of prosecco, which went down a treat with the wife. The lady on reception was incredibly polite and knowledgable of the local area and informed us about the opportunity to upgrade to all inclusive - which we did. Our room was on the ground floor, with a pool view and was perfectly suited for relaxing in the evening before heading out for tea. This was our first lengthy holiday with our 19 month old son, Max, since he has been able to walk and we were slightly apprehensive before our arrival. We shouldn't have been. The hotel is perfectly suited for couples or families with children of all ages. There are no kids activities (although there is a small play area with a chalk board, artificial grass and kids kitchen, near the restaurant), which we liked, but he was kept occupied with the pool and beach. That was more than enough. The room was spacious and we had a lovely patio which our little lad loved playing on. The rooms were quiet and always cleaned to a high standard. There was a safe to put any valuables in and a well stocked mini bar which we were free to use, being all-inclusive. The food at the hotel was unreal. The lunch restaurant at pool level had a great menu and the food from there was to die for. I'd highly reccommend the beef rib and the fish and chips. I'd never had this quality of food from an all-inclusive holiday before. The breakfast and dinner was served at the lower level and it had a lovely atmosphere. During our first evening and last breakfast there was a violinist playing which complimented this greatly. The breakfast had a great variety ranging from freshly cooked omelettes to pancakes and fruit. The dinners had a different theme every night and there was again a huge amount of choice. We particularly loved the freshly cooked steaks and the mexican themed night. The chefs may I add, were brilliantly; they were friendly and highly skilled. What really set this hotel apart from a lot of other hotels I have stayed at was the staff. What an incredible team they have working there and they all went above and beyond to make our holiday special. The gentleman who was working around the pool, I think his name was Jamal but I could be wrong, always made a special effort with our son. He again was polite and nothing was too much trouble for him. For our evening meals, we were always served by Pecrino. We have never had such a hardworking, polite and charming waiter. He was excellent and we looked forward to seeing him every evening. The bar staff were excellent and I'd like to make a specific mention to Pablo, who is one of the happiest and most enthusiastic people I have ever met. He, like everyone else, made a huge fuss over Max and won his heart by giving him an ice-cream. He is still saying 'Pablo. Where are you?' now we are home. Lucia, Ana and Tenorio were extremely professional during dinner and the service we received was impeccable. I'd finally like to mention Cinthia, who ensured our glasses were never empty on pool side and Rita who organised the activities around the pool. We were unfortunately unable to participate in any of them but she, like everyone else, made a huge fuss of our little boy. it is those little moments that make our holidays that bit more special and for that, I am extremely grateful. The location is ideally suited for those who would like a leisurely stroll into Puerto Banus. I would say that it is about 20 mins along the coast and I'd highly recommend a visit there. The hotel organised for a taxi to take us to Marbella centre, which took approximately 10 minutes and was 11 euros each way. The pool was heated and although it was still a bit chilly, it meant that we could enjoy it in the cooler months of early April. All in all, we had a fantastic holiday at Coral Beach and we will definitely be back later in the year! If you're heading to Marbella, this should be the hotel you stay at.

The hotel is not on the beach, the breakfast area is downstairs in the basement (very dark and does not feel like you are on holiday) They have a restaurant by the pool , which would be better suited to have the breakfast area. There are not enough beds by the pool to cater for the amount of guests at the hotel. Staff are very friendly and good location to get into Puerto Banús
