This hotel is definitely a great place to stay if you go to Nice. The concierge staff are very friendly and efficient, and the rooms are tidy and very comfortable. We definitely recommend - thank you!

We decided, after covid restrictions, to return to Nice and go up-market. The flower carnival, and weather, is why we went in February. This hotel is superbly located- on the Promenade des Anglais- for sea, Restaurants, the Old Town, and Carnival. Interesting 30s historic architecture has been superbly developed into this modern and (genuinely) 5 star showpiece; what surprised me was how our sense of being 'special' went far beyond the stylish reception. Staff- AMAZING! Friendly but not over-familiar, always smiling, and SO HELPFUL. The national strike/march- pension age change- meant we had a risk of missing our return flight. The concierge went way beyond the call to help us firstly sort out the taxi transfer issue, then, when we realised we could extend our stay, he was tireless in cancelling the transfer, phoning and reassuring the taxi driver, re-arranging flights, getting a good price for them, printing boarding passes, and arranging the new transfer and wrangling our luggage to the new room. Meantime the reception staff sorted out a choice of room- and a good rate offer. Our first room- 'King (size bed) Sea (view)' - book early- exceeded our expectations in comfort, style and quality. Not available for the extra nights at short (no) notice, so stops were pulled out- with a fair offer- and we went way up market to the 'Panoramique' (view: East, South and West- really!) on floor 9- the roof. Stunning! Very many square feet of Bedroom, Lounge, Bathroom (his and hers sinks) and 5 sets of doors onto 2 balconies with amazing view of Nice- Promenade, Bay, City, Mountains, Carnival- Panoramique in this instance means over 270 degrees... A big seller for us was the large indoor and outdoor pool; open long hours daily- and not just in the summer (we changed to this hotel when we found our original hotel's pool 'Re- opens in April'). The 3rd floor outdoor terrace, beside the pool, is great for watching all sorts of people 'Promenading'. Sauna and steam room- 'Hammam'- are not on the same floor as the pool - presumably to allow the large pool- and are available 10 am to 10 pm- unlike many spas. Hot, clean and stylish. Overall: SUPERB! We'll be back!

The hotel itself is a historical site. In the hotel the style of decoration is quite prestige. I was upgraded to premium suite because of the low occupancy in the winter. There is sea view in the room, but limited. The space of the room is quite big. The hotel offers me air humidifier, that is what I asked in another hyatt hotel months ago, so I must say their service quality is really good. For the self-service breakfast, it is brilliant, it holds a variety of foods. It is quite pity that the swimming pool is closed when I visit this hotel for maintenance.
