Hyatt Regency Amsterdam

The hotel is very nice. It is very clean and the room is very spacious. There is a desk, TV, large bathroom, comfortable bed, and a nice shower. Room service was good. It all feels relatively new and well maintained. There are canals in walking distance, restaurants in walking distance, and a great grocery store across the street for any extras. The only thing I would call out is that the breakfast buffet at the hotel was not really worth the price. If it was free it would be amazing, but at the price they charge, it was just ok. Therefore I’d recommend walking to one of the many nearby breakfast restaurants. My favorite was Box Sociaal.

Staff were exceptionally welcoming and great at anticipating most needs. Hyatt status was appreciated, benefits shared/explained, and amenities for them top notch. The gym is serviceable. The Spa area is small, but effective. The location for public transit is good. The room was well maintained and housekeeping did a notably good job. Quite frankly, the Hyatt experience we all appreciate and it was all of their staff contributing to it, not just a few employees.

Friendly service and attention at check in Bed was very comfortable, I am not an easy sleeper at all but the comforter and pillows were wonderful! Big shower in the bathroom, good ester pressure. Break fast was of superior Quality and selection. The room was standard size. The hotel might not look very appealing from the outside because of its yellow bricks and you have to walk like 15 minutes to the center but you can take the tram, we recommend it because of the service and comfy bed.
