Finally, Capri! As soon as you arrive in the famous Piazzetta, you are immediately taken by the festive air. You stroll down Via Camerelle and window shop its luxurious boutiques until, by just turning a corner, you find yourself in the quiet Via Tragara, bright with sunlight. We stayed at Villa Brunella last week and loved it. The hotel has the best view of beautiful Capri, we were stunned by it when we were checking in. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast by the buffet was lovely. Our room was large, clean, comfortable and felt homey. There were so many great details in our room, like local porcelain objects and gorgeous tilework in the shower and bath. We had a balcony with an amazing view. There's also a garden with fruit trees and flowers. We loved it here, thank you!

We visited Capri and stayed at Villa Brunella for 4 nights. It was a perfect way to end our 3 weeks vacation in Italy. The hotel arranged for our transfer from the airport to the ferry and then from the ferry to the hotel. It was worth every penny, as it made everything so easy. The staff was so friendly and helpful the entire time - arranging a boat ride for us around the island and giving us great suggestions for things to see on the island. Our room was lovely with a large sitting area and a balcony with views of the bay of Capri. The breakfast was wonderful and I loved my cappuccinos every morning. We had dinner twice during our stay and we thought the food was excellent and the service impeccable. The hotel is located away from the hustle and bustle of the shopping area, but close enough to walk there. It's a hilly island, so be prepared to get your steps and exercise - it makes eating all the pasta guilt-free! We were there in mid-October, so swimming in the pool was not an option, unfortunately. We did swim on our boat trip, as the water was a nice temperature. It's lovely being there without the large crowds of the summer. We hope to go back someday.

When Capri is open to tourists it is a very busy island. The Hotel is on the south side of the island over looking the south bay. You travel up to Capri town centre and from there, it is a 15 minute level walk to the Hotel leaving all the crowds of tourists behind. We had an excellent room with a very large balcony with 2 sun loungers and a table and chairs. It had beautiful views over the south bay of Capri and you could also see the view from our bed. The towels were changed twice a day with the bed being turn down in the evenings. Breakfast was in the restaurant by the pool this is on the lower level with very friendly staff and a very good breakfast. The main Restaurant was on the top floor with views to die for. We ate there on our first night and didn't enjoy the experience. All the large windows were open and some of them did not have fly screens fitted SO the lights were turned right down to stop the mosquitos coming in. This meant you could not see to read the menu (used phone torch) or eat your food. The staff are very helpful, they arranged for us, All the ferry tickets and porterage to and from Capri, all you have to do is just ask..
