Our stay at Hotel Jay in Nice was overall pleasant, with a few highlights and some areas for improvement. First and foremost, the staff was extraordinary—they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and were incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Their friendliness and professionalism were certainly a standout. The room was clean and well-kept, which we appreciated, though the design was a little funky and unconventional. It wasn't entirely to our taste, but that’s more of a personal preference. One issue that did cause a bit of concern was the lack of sprinklers in the building. While the safety feature was missing, we were on the first floor, so we comforted ourselves with the idea that we could escape via the window if necessary. Still, for a hotel of this caliber, it would be reassuring to see sprinklers in place. As for the amenities, we were fortunate to have very strong water pressure in our room, which was great for a refreshing shower after a day of sightseeing. However, our traveling companions, who were in a different room, mentioned that they had weak water pressure, which was a bit disappointing for them. In summary, while there are a few things that could be improved, Hotel Jay has excellent staff, clean rooms, and offers a comfortable stay. With a few tweaks, it could be a real gem.

My wife and I really enjoyed our four nights at this hotel. The hotel is perfectly located to everything and with in walking distance to mostly everything. We were greeted with smiling faces and courtesy and this continued throughout our stay. The rooms were clean and spacious decorated nicely. The bed was very comfortable. Staff was very nice and pleasant. We highly recommend the Jay hotel for your next stay in Nice. We will stay here again on our next trip.

I absolutely loved the hotel! My 5-night stay was smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable. The hotel is located a little away from the heart of Nice, but the street is very quiet, peaceful, and pleasant. The distance to all major Nice sights is easily walkable, and I liked that the hotel is only a couple of blocks away from the waterfront. The hotel has been recently renovated, and its lobby is beautifully decorated. The entire hotel was impeccably clean throughout my stay. One drawback was the elevator, which was quite small and slow. The hotel staff was exceptional - every single person was very nice and friendly. I booked a Deluxe Suite with a balcony and stayed on the 3rd floor, in room #306. Unfortunately, my pre-arrival request for a higher floor, which I emailed and called about, was not accommodated. Despite this, the Deluxe Suite was spectacular! It was comparable in size to a small one-bedroom apartment, with a small hall and kitchen counter, a narrow side hallway connecting all the rooms, a living room, a bedroom, a bathroom, and a small separate toilet. I absolutely loved the design of my Suite; everything from the room colors to the furniture was harmonized. All the furniture was in excellent condition. There were two TVs, one in the bedroom and one in the living room. The living room had a comfortable soft chair and a sofa-bed. The Double Bed in the bedroom was very comfortable. The closet, located in the hallway, was spacious enough to fit plenty of belongings. The bathroom was small but comfortable, with a deep bathtub as a big plus. The bathroom amenities were of high quality and smelled nice. The separate toilet was also a big plus for me. Wi-Fi in my room was fast throughout my stay. I paid €277 per night for my Suite. While I found the hotel very nice overall, this rate seemed overpriced to me. However, my room reservation policy allowed for four guests per room. If four people (e.g., two couples) share this nightly rate, the deal would be reasonable. The hotel also offers regular standard rooms that are much cheaper if you want to save money. In conclusion, I absolutely recommend this hotel for a stay in Nice. If you reserve the Deluxe Suite like I did, you will enjoy its comfort, and it will help to make your stay in the city even more pleasant.
