Hotel THB Ocean Beach

Just returned from a stay and had a great time. I was surprised how quiet it was but I enjoyed the relaxed time, loads of sunbeds, lovely big clean room, cleaners are really sweet/friendly. As are the bar/breakfast staff. Special shout out to Carlos who was a gent and consistently welcoming and helpful no matter what time of day. He really made me laugh most of the week and being a solo traveller it was much appreciated. Breakfast is good, better than a buffet and you can have what you like off a big menu. Met some lovely people round the pool and everyone was friendly and spoke to each other because it was a bit calmer and an older crowd than the normal hotels in San An. You don't have a private entrance into obeach and have to be in by 3pm unless you book direct which is a bit early but still good to have the option to go in just to experience it as the production in there is insane. It’s not too noisy in the day, no more than any other hotel playing music which is normal. I couldn’t hear it at night from the rooms at the front but if you don’t like noise then San An isn’t for you no matter where you stay. If you are bothered take ear plugs. I will be definitely go back.

Not great for solo travellers….. no one is around…. The pool beds are empty so I didn’t use the pool or loungers like I normally like doing. Went out to different hotels pools everyday. A good quiet base in a great location….. with no pool vibes if that is what you are looking for.

I had my first solo trip to Ibiza at the end of July. I booked this hotel as I THOUGHT it would be a great place to meet people, being it's connection to OBeach Club. However, the hotel was DEAD, no one round the pool, very little activity at all. I was disappointed with this, however the room was lovely, clean and maid service every day, the staff friendly and the air con was AMAZING!! If you're wanting a party hotel, this is not it! But if you want a relaxing hotel which is clean and quite central - this is the place for you!
