Weekend in Amsterdam
We stayed here over a weekend and the whole experience was perfect, from the service at the door on entering to leaving three days later. The whole team at the hotel made our stay special and enjoyable. The breakfast buffet was wonderful, as was the spa and gym area. We picked this hotel for these things and it did not dissapoint, the location making this one of the perfect places to stay in the City.

Outstanding service, luxury, location
Outstanding service, luxury, location. I booked this hotel through AMEX Fine Hotels. The hotel emailed us ahead of our stay to inquire about room requests. On arrival, gave us an early checkin (around noon) and an upgrade from the junior suite we booked to a full suite. Service was really great. Brought us extra pillows, towels, laundry bags immediately after we asked them. Very helpful and hard-working concierge with dinner suggestions. Outstanding buffet breakfast in a beautiful high ceiling room called the "winter garden." We ate at the cafe one night, also good food. A few minuses in the room: (1) not enough towel racks--only one towel rack for the hand towels even though there were two sinks, and only one rack for the bath towels. (2) Not a large number of electric outlets.
