Nautico Ibiza, On the promenade, located for easy access to the old town, port and the town and it's bus station. A two week stay, we were lucky enough to upgrade to a sea view with a balcony for our second week. Watching the ferry's and tourists boats and the occasional mishap. A great example of research not a substitute for experience. There are no balconies on the street side but the room on the street was a double room with twin beds. Safes are 18 euro a week. Unless it states what you get it I would err on the side of caution and take it it doesn't. Booking half board could be too much for fourteen days, queued to get a table at breakfast if arriving at 930. Evening meal repeated after 7 days so no need to pile up the plate to leave it. Evening meal was as relaxed as you wanted to make it. The second week post Easter had fewer evening meal guests. The grill allowed you to have a choice of meat fish that hadn't been lying. The fish dishes on the buffet were particularly tasty. My particular favourite was the salad bar cheeses and meats starter or desert. That's the question? I went for a starter leaving the cakes fruit till last. Half board or not. Breakfast gets you out of bed even some days when you would like that extra lie in. Dinner allows you to spend the day exploring and return for a meal without thinking where to go. Though some days it would perhaps be nice to eat out locally. I have no preference though I think the holiday was very relaxing because of our choices The pool area was pleasant with deckchairs, sunbeds on the deck ,above the pool, brought out the worst of people especially at 10:30 in the morning, well just before as the sun deck doesn't open till 10:30. The hotel reception provides a nice sitting area. The bar with its twice weekly 18:00 show was pleasant and prices as other bar front. Miel and Limon on the same street as the hotel is of great value and as the benefit of the most charming welcome. You would find it difficult to find a nicer well situated hotel served by excellent staff. A lovely welcome at meals from Daniela, front of house, Ana, Maria , Juanita provide a lovely smile and service despite us difficult guests. Reception staff are obliging . Rooms were spotless and serviced daily. Would I come back, April sunshine, avoiding Easter perhaps, would I recommend yes, if your budget affords it a sea view balcony on the seventh floor is hard to beat.Thank You BG Nautico my first stay with the brand and hopefully not the last.

This is a beautiful, glamorous, sleek, modern and comfortable hotel, which really should be a 5 star, instead of the 4 star classification it has. We got a taxi from the rank at the airport - the journey was less than 15 minutes and cost Euro 15 - same as back in Ireland. The airport in Ibiza is compact, clean and efficient, with plenty of taxis, inside seating, toilets and shops. Check in was friendly and efficient and we got the upper floor, sea view room we had requested - I would strongly advise paying the extra for a kingsize sea view room with balcony,it is well worth it,as the view is beautiful. The rooms are modern, bright, airy and very well appointed. The bathroom has a large, walk in,power shower and there is plenty of storage space for toiletries and costmetics. The pool and bar areas, overlooking the bay,are gorgeous, really clean and well maintained. Most early evenings they had low key musicians playing in the pool bar area and this was a really nice touch - the duo featuring a Cuban gentleman on the bongos on Thursdays and Saturdays were especially good,we even requested and bought some cds of his music from him to take back home with us. The hotel is towards the end of the bay,so you just have to walk out of the gate at night, directly onto the promenade and to your right you have an array of lovely bars and restaurants to eat at. We ate and drank at Little Ibiza,Alo,El Principe,Soleado Restaurant and The Skinny Kitchen and all were really good. Prices are lower than eating and drinking in Ireland. All in all,I would highly recommend this hotel,in terms of value for money, location and high standard across the board.
