Hotel Mercure Paris Saint – Lazare Monceau

Currently stayed here for 3 nights. Staff was lovley from the moment you come in couldn't be more helpful! Hotel lovley and clean. Great location. Couldn't fault it all. Perfect.. Only 1 small thing I could say is I was not aware that you had to pay a tax free onto on your actual price when arrived. However it was a small fee nothing big at all

Because this hotel is conveniently placed near the Eiffel tower and in the heart of Paris, we reserved several nights there. Even though we had paid for a "premium" view, the top of the Eiffel tower was all that was visible. Even still, considering that you could have seen it better from outside the hotel, I'm not sure if the additional expense was warranted. With the toilet in one room and the sink and shower in another, the bathroom layout was awkward. The on-site bar was a great place to unwind and have a small drink at the end of the evening. The personnel was very welcoming and supportive whenever needed.

The hotel is located near the Eiffel Tower, which is the only positive. Rooms are cramped and upholstery is dated. Hotel is mostly filled with tourist groups and very little attention is given by staff to individual guests. There are many better options to pick from in central Paris, avoid this property.
