Hotel Mayfair

A nice Hotel, in a nice location. Arrived by rail and was within easy walking distance. Lovely room, staff were professional and very attentive. Sadly I was on a short business trip so did not to enjoy the facilities as much as I would have wanted to.

All of the staff were genuinely kind and helpful. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. Room service was fast…burgers and fries were good! The hotel is in as convenient location nearby shops, restaurants, and tourist attractions. The bar was quiet and relaxing. Thank you for the great experience!

We stayed in a double deluxe room. The location is right down the street from the Tuileries Gardens, which unfortunately had been sectioned off with fences due to the Olympics. The room is a good size, rather old-fashioned but clean. The two chairs are uncomfortable, and although there is plenty of room for one, there is no side table to put between the chairs to set your drinks on. The bed is also extremely hard. The TV is a bit out of date, and despite the fact that the TV guide showed there are multiple English channels available, they had no signal, which is unacceptable for a 4-star hotel in Paris. Also, the breakfast room is cramped and dark. I did like that there was a bellman to show us to the room when we checked in, and the staff were friendly, except for the grumpy waiter at breakfast. The rain shower is great. We had booked for 5 nights, but did not feel comfortable there, and we left after 2 nights. We paid $410 per night, which included breakfast.
