Located in the center of Paris and only a few minutes away from the Bourse du Commerce and the Samaritaine department store, the Madame Rêve Hotel embodies the new trend of the French luxury hospitality. The 5-stars hotel, nestled in the iconic 19th century Louvre post office building, offers a unique panorama over the Parisian cityscape.
The 82 rooms and suites reveal all day long breathtaking views over its vertical sky garden, Paris and some of the most emblematic monuments as the Eiffel Tower. The decoration is a subtle mix of precious woods and bespoke golden-brown fabrics. The hotel offers two culinary experiences: a restaurant with a Mediterranean cuisine, Madame Rêve Café and a panoramic restaurant with Japanese influenced cuisine, La Plume. Its vegetal rooftop will be the place of all meetings and offers a true bubble of nature in the heart of the frenetic city.

I am really sorry to write about this hotel which is otherwise very clean and in a good location of Paris. While on a one night stay in Paris for business, I arrived home to view my credit card online showing a charge of 570 Euros from the hotel. The hotel claims I have purchased some kind of hotel signature blanket, and they have no signature on file, or my credit card pin to show my authorization of purchase. Either their staff is stealing products, OR their guests are stealing. In any case, they continue to maintain the transaction. I have contacted my credit card company to investigate them and return the funds, eventually. It is awful to think a hotel can charge you without authorization and without any proof. Unbelievable. There was another guest with a serious complaint upon my arrival, I should have noted the red flag. Such a pity, though they are fraudulently charging guests credit cards with large sums. BEWARE.

Arrived in Paris around 8am exhausted and thankfully the hotel staff was able to find a solution for me to check in early. The room was beautiful and exactly as pictured. I ordered room service twice, and both times arrived within 20 minutes and was excellent. Service and products are top quality. I would definitely stay again.

Perched on the top floor of the renovated central post office, the hotel is perfectly located. Around the corner from the newly renovated Bourse de Commerce museum, the Samaritaine shopping district and the Rue Montorgueil market. Rooms are good size by Parisian standards, very well appointed, with large bathroom and separate WC. The only drawback is the shower head over the incline of the tub. A roof-top terrace with restaurant is open in the summer and is one floor above the rooms . Servics are expensive: breakfast a la carte can easily set you back €40+ Euros and an in-room manicure/pedicure €300.
