Beautiful little hotel located a short walk from the Opera and Galeries Layfayette. The area in general is busy, but the hotel is on a quiet little pedestrian only street. The room was clean and well appointed. The three of us shared a large room with one queen bed and a twin size day bed. Linens were soft and cozy and the beds comfortable. Best of all was the friendly and helpful staff including one woman who went out of her way to make friends with my 7 year old granddaughter and gave her a cute box of candies. I would definitely stay here again!

We came for a quick weekend in Paris to see an art exhibition and loved this hotel. We booked a junior suite but the room 301 they gave us was enormous with a large lounge surrounded by windows and furnished in new soft grey tones. The purple velvet armchairs and sofa were excellent for relaxing after sightseeing and the Nespresso coffee and kettle much appreciated. Breakfast was nice with a small buffet and hot food to order. Location excellent close to Galeries Lafayette, Opera and Tiulleries gardens so you can easily walk to Louvre or D'orsay in 15 mins. They're currently renovating the bar restaurant but that will be a good addition to the cute pedestrian street once finished in April Definitely will return thanks to the friendly staff

I know Paris well, as I lived there for many years. Since leaving, I've been looking for a good place to stay when we come back for our frequent visits. Well, this may be it. The Indigo, which I believe is recently renovated, is very central, around the corner from the Opéra de Paris and walking distance from the Louvre and the Palais Royal. The downstairs entrance area is rather small; the footprint of the hotel is not large. This isn't a charmingly diverse old-fashioned area like the Marais, but full of classic Paris stone Haussmann buildings, which are mostly business offices and stores today. It was very convenient for transportation, with many buses, metros and taxis available (the taxi situation has considerably improved for visitors since the pandemic, and we had no trouble getting one at any time). The hotel does not have a restaurant or room service, at least currently, and also has no one to help you with your luggage; this was not a big problem for us, as our suitcases roll and there is an elevator. The people who work at the hotel mostly seem unusually helpful (there was a single exception who hardly acknowledged us, barely looking up while answering questions). The breakfast is outstanding, and consists of not only the usual pastry and yogurt but also individually cooked breakfast if you prefer. Breakfast is important to me and it was so nice to have a good breakfast every day—not too early! and smiling service. It really started each day off right. The bedroom was also very modern and comfortable and the bathroom excellent, with good plumbing. It would have been nice to have a little more space for toiletries but it wasn't too cramped. The decoration in the hotel is modern and agreeable. The hotel is in a quiet pedestrian impasse in a very busy area, so it's not noisy. The street is only 100 meters or so away, so it is not hard to catch a cab there if you need one; the hotel can also order one for you. There are dozens of restaurants within a ten-minute walk. Altogether a very pleasant and comfortable stay in a well-run hotel.
