An impromptu pied-à-terre or an extended Parisian holiday, the Hotel Eugène en Ville has the prerogative of a lively and highly visible conviviality.
The place gives pride of place to a mix of genres. The banter of raw walls and industrial furniture heckles the look of chosen bourgeoisies. Victorian black patinas, ornate candelabra and mirrors, plush armchairs and curiosities are all carefully selected for a style that is as sought-after as it is iconoclastic. An alchemy that does not fail to intrigue. Just as quirky, a giant screen broadcasts sequences from behind closed doors in a palace: an atypical film, a witticism of a well-inhabited place.
The hotel has inherited that elegance that never wants to look sophisticated. He has this charm that always seems spontaneous: this so Parisian “effortless chic” of which Eugène has the secret.

Comfortable and clean boutique hotel in the center of Monmarte. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. Good price compared to other hotels in area. The only negative were the black walls and ceiling as it made the lighting bad in the room to do any makeup etc.

Good location, great staff. Room was tiny and not worth the cost. Was woken up by cleaning staff chatting outside our room. I wouldn’t stay again unless I was going alone - maybe. The terrace was much smaller than expected too, so overall was disappointing.

Very convenient location, the check-in depends very much on who is at the desk. Some are outstanding, some are frustrating. The hotel is cozy, rooms are nice, but there should be again a fridge in the room, for the price. Breakfast is good, but again, plates, glassware and table setting is a little improvised. You often need to ask the staff to bring what is missing, and somehow they do not seem to notice it on their own. Also, you should not start cleaning the breakfast area while clients are still having breakfast (and time was not over). Overall, a nice hotel, but either you upgrade the quality of staff, or you lower the rates.
