Gorgeous hotel inside and out! The hotel is in a great location within a 30 minute walk to everything we wanted to do and see. All of staff was very friendly and helpful with whatever we needed. Rooftop bar and restaurant had great food and strong drinks, not to mention a scenic view of the cityscape. The breakfast was incredible!! Definitely worth the 30 Euros with all that was included. Rooms were pristine and cleaned every day. Will definitely be staying here again!

Our stay would have been excellent except for your staff reserving us a restaurant (Butafumeiro) on our second night, even the reservation was in the name Casa Fuster. We wanted to go to Las Caracoles, that we knew from 50 years ago, but we were told that Butafumeiro was our best option...what a mistake, the food was bad, the presentation was bad, the service was arrogant and the price was very expensive..in other words a bad experience! You should check who you recommend outside your hotel as it may well tarnish your reputation Gracias Richard Lachance & Helene Couture

I will start by saying the location is excellent, but what this hotel is not, is five star. The interior is dark, dusty and in need of a revamp. We booked a junior suite (through booking.com, the hotel management admitted there is an error) - no rooms in this hotel have their own private facilities - it is a shared, very small plunge pool and our suite which overlooked a school - the noise in the morning and lunchtime, forget it if you wish to nap. There was also a function happening which the hotel did not have the courtesy to inform their paying guests, the sun loungers etc from roof terrace were out of bounds, but when I tried to discuss with Hotel Manager - his response was “it was only for 2 hours”. I’m sorry but I’m paying and should I wish to relax on roof terrace then surely that is my prerogative. Will not be back - plenty other hotels in this part of town, far more reasonably priced.
