Amazing hotel and restaurant

This hotel has a very nice architecture and it is very well located at the center. It is very nicely decorated and the staff are very friendly.. the restaurant is beautifully located and is full of olive trees. The food at the restaurant is very delicious .

Wish I was there !

I absolutely loved staying at this very thoughtfully designed boutique hotel . We had two rooms in Cal Bisbe which is just a short walk from the main building . In my opinion this building has a nicer pool area but both are stunning . Our rooms and the shared spaces were beautifully decorated and we had no issue with noise .The staff were fabulous and I could not fault the service . Breakfast was fabulous. Best crepes ! Wouldn’t hesitate to suggest this hotel and I am dreaming of returning My only disappointment was that that we did not experience Casa de Pau as it closed due to a storm when we stayed . We parked very close by in a free public parking area

Beautiful place but NOT 5 star!! Don’t spend 5 star money

We are really sad to leave this review as we were so looking forward to our stay and it was actually to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, but unfortunately it just wasn’t what we expected at all! It is not 5 star! Like most people we just thought some people from previous reviews just loved a moan but actually it is accurate. We would not discourage people from staying here, it is beautiful and a great location, but definitely just manage your expectations, and certainly do not spend what we did and fork out €400 plus per night, it’s not worth It! The staff are all very friendly for the most part, sometimes it felt a little pretentious. I feel bad for those who were good but overall the service just isn’t 5 star, not even close! Rooms - while our room was aesthetically lovely, very clean and bed very comfortable, the room we got wasn’t what we had expected from images online. There are three parts of the hotel and the majority of images of rooms are actually not in the main building. And our Deluxe Premier Room with “View” had a tiny shutter window, not at all what is advertised. It was also incredible NOISY at night with doors slamming, street noise etc. Service / facilities - We never got shown round all the facilities (including the other parts of the hotel - there are two pools which we found out from Instagram, not staff). The as the young man showing us round (who was lovely) was ushered away abruptly by a senior member of staff which extremly rude! We had to wait over 20 minutes for drinks service during the day, one time we ordered and they had just forgot, it wasn’t busy at all either. Unfortunately on our second night there was a huge storm and we had to leave our room at 3am as water was pouring through the velux windows. We slept in a different room and then the next morning we’re told we had to move permanently. Whilst we fully understand a storm is not the hotels fault, for the inconvenience we got 10% off the room rate for night of the storm, that was it!! At no point did any more senior staff attempt to find us or leave a message to apologise and make sure the alternative arrangements were ok. We didn’t even get offered a drink at the bar, which after such upheaval moving rooms and loosing a night sleep I would have thought would have been a the least that could be offered to make sure we were ok and happy. It was almost like we were just a big inconvenience and that the events of the night of the storm were funny and not serious at all! Overall, we still had a lovely break but the above were really disappointing, just not 5 star service and not what we’ve experienced from other places.
