An important restoration project carried out on a Belle Epoque building, effectively melds the classic style of the construction with a contemporary style, where the original architectural elements cohabit with refined design solutions. The bar, with its futurist atmosphere, La Pescheria, restaurant “Ã la page”, the ample Fitness Area and SPA, with pool and Hamman, and the meeting area are reference points of city life and for events, congresses and business meetings. During summer guests that will book their beach entrance will have a reserved area on the famous RUHL PLAGE (beach) at their disposal. For bicycling lovers, it is possible to rent a “Velo Bleu”, bike sharing of the city, at the entrance of the hotel.

This hotel was chosen by the cruise company for our stay prior to embarkation. If that had not been the case, we would have moved out right away. In this pretentious five-star hotel, there are no doors that separate the bedroom from the bathroom. When one person gets up early and wants to take a shower, he/she has no choice but to turn on the lights in the bathroom and thereby, wake up the other person. When we asked for another room, we were told that they are all the same. We have had better accommodations in two-star hotels in developing countries. The service at this hotel is adequate but rigid and unhelpful. Maintenance leaves much to be desired, including functioning locks on the toilet doors in the lobby area and air conditioning controls. The only desirable features in this hotel are its central location and its abundant breakfast buffet.

Service I had a terrible experience with Priceline while booking a hotel stay. A minor change in our reservation dates ended up costing us a staggering $3800 plus a hefty penalty. Despite Priceline's partnership with the Boscolo Hotel in Nice, they showed zero flexibility. The inflexibility and customer service for returning customers at Boscolo Hotel are astounding. After spending countless hours on the phone trying to explain that we weren’t canceling our reservation but simply shifting the dates to stay for more days at the hotel, Priceline insisted on a penalty fee for changing dates with no guarantee of reimbursement from the hotel. We were essentially forced to pay an extra $3800 plus a $275 penalty, with no assurance of getting any money back. Given that Priceline and the Boscolo Hotel have a business relationship, one would expect a bit of leniency or at least some reasonable options. Instead, we were met with rigid policies and unhelpful customer service. This is not a way to encourage future bookings with this hotel or through Priceline. This experience was frustrating and disappointing, and I strongly advise against using Priceline, especially if you’re considering booking at the Boscolo Hotel in Nice

We booked a superior room and our room was upgraded upon arrival which was a great touch. The room was very nice, big and bright. The shower was in the middle of the room but there was a curtain to wrap around it if you want privacy. There were no robes or slippers in the room but when requested they did bring them to us. We went to the spa which was nice but needs updating - a couple of the buttons for the water features didn’t work and it looked quite worn in places. The rooftop pool and restaurant were very nice. The cocktails and food were very nice. It was a very nice hotel and would recommend.
