A Super But Discreet Hotel
I have been staying at am Steinplatz for several years starting before it became part of Marriott/Bonvoy. It is my favorite hotel in Berlin. Housed in an excellent altbau building, its location is central with excellent transportation options. The public areas are quite discreet - you will see only a few people at most when you enter or exit the hotel. The rooms are well maintained and extremely comfortable and quiet. It has an excellent restaurant, and the bar has won awards for its creative cocktails. I always stop for a nightcap. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is partly residential but with plenty of good restaurants nearby on Savigny Platz and Kantstrasse. The great shopping area of Ku'damm is nearby. If you want a relaxing but polished place to stay in Berlin, this is it.

A gem in Berlin
This is the third time I have stayed at Hotel Am Steinplatz. Every stay was perfect. This is a really cool boutique hotel in a great location. Their front desk service is outstanding and welcoming and their restaurant and bar are excellent. The rooms are great and large compared to hotels that were built in more modern times. They also have meeting rooms for business meetings which is also perfect for my needs. I will always stay here when I visit Berlin.

A beautiful Hotel with Fabulous staff and Facilities. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would recommend to all.. 10 minutes walk to Berlin Zoo... a taxi ride to The Brandenburg Gate and Checkpoint Charlie. All in all... well done...
