Just returned from a 4 day break here with friends. I was surprised this was on a 3 star hotel. Staff were excellent and so friendly, especially Alex. Rooms were clean. We had an ocean view we’re we saw great sunsets. Would definitely recommend

We have recently returned from a wonderful stay at Hotel Abrat. The hotel is in the perfect location with excellent views of the sea especially at sunset from the roof terrace bar. Only a short stroll from Cafe Mambo and Cafe Del Mar, it’s the perfect location for those looking to be close enough to enjoy everything the sunset strip has to offer but to also give the peace and tranquility that’s needed after a busy night. We arrived early for check-in but were shown a room to change and shower before heading to the pool area to settle down until our room was ready. There were ample sunbeds and pool towels are available for a deposit of €15 that could be changed daily. We booked a Junior Suite with garden view that was definitely worth the extra money. The room was fantastic, spotlessly clean and well appointed. The bathroom had a jacuzzi and separate shower. We ate breakfast daily in the hotel and every morning there was a wide selection of hot and cold options which included freshly made omelettes and smoothies. A couple of times throughout the holiday we had lunch in the snack bar. The food was excellent as were the choice of cocktails, with poolside service too it made the whole experience much better than the 3* shown on the building. The staff at Hotel Abrat from check-in/reception, to cleaners and bar staff made our stay perfect, nothing was ever too much trouble. Their help with relocating my lost bag was essential in ensuring we made our flight home on time. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we’ll definitely be back!

Stayed here at the beginning of august for a hen weekend. The location is ideal for San Antonio, far enough out of the way that you can actually sleep at night but walking distance from great bars and restaurants, literally next door to wiki woo and a 15 min walk along the promenade to cafe mambos. Pool area was lovely, plenty of sunbeds on terrace around pool or on the grassy area next door. Restaurant food served around the pool and cocktails were 10/10! Best food I had all holiday and very reasonably priced. The breakfast included was mediocre at best, stale hash browns, very greasy fry up and not a huge selection for continental breakfast. Hotel staff were polite and efficient, restaurant staff were lovely and cook pizzas through to the early hours which was appreciated after spending the day at a beach club. The rooms really let the hotel down, we had three rooms and asked for them to all be together but we’re split up across the hotel, the air con in the rooms was poor, the rooms never felt cool and the air con was so noisy you couldn’t leave it on at night if you wanted to actually sleep. The floors in the rooms felt dirty and grit was sticking to feet so had to wear shoes constantly in the room, the bathrooms had nowhere near enough space to put any toiletries other than precariously balancing a couple of bottles on the side of the sink. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable. The balcony felt unsafe and seemed to slope down towards the edge which felt quite scary and I only ended up stepping onto it once. The view from my room was of a building site next door where the work was coming up as high as my room, making the room very dark, I appreciate this isn’t the hotels fault though. Overall it was a good base for us to head out from each day and the pool and pool restaurant were absolutely fantastic but I personally wouldn’t chose to stay here again.
