We checked in around 11am, I was offered an upgrade to a canal view room since I was a Gold Honors member. I was also given 2 free waters in my room and free breakfast each morning. They've taken away lounge access for unless your Platinum or above. Overall a good stay, the coffee shop was closed for the month of January so no access to coffee unless you made it in your room.

From the moment we got to Amsterdam to the (sad) moment we left...everything was perfect! The front desk staff was most welcoming and although we were very tired after our traveling from the USA, we were able to check in to our room right away. Our room had a view of the canal and old Amsterdam...just beautiful. There were even welcome flowers in our room! Being a Hilton Diamond member we had breakfast either made to order or could have the buffet items. We also were able to go to the 10th floor for Happy Hour. I can't say enough about everyone we encountered from the breakfast staff to the hosts for happy hour...we felt like we were old friends and treated special. The location of the hotel was great too. The museums were easy to walk to but we also got a tram ticket and the stop was a block from the hotel so it was VERY easy to get around Amsterdam. Our trip was one of the best vacations we have had (and we have traveled around the world). This is one place that we WILL go back to. THANK YOU AMSTERDAM HILTON!!

The hotel was amazing. Location, views, cleanliness was excellent. The room is beautiful and so comfortable. Special thanks to Mr. Zakaria for providing us with a lake view room which we enjoyed very much. He was so helpful and professional (as were all the staff). The breakfast was great. There was a large selection and the staff were very nice. Unfortunately, I remember only one name Nurdan. She was so sweet. At the end of breakfast we actually rolled out of the restaurant :) The best part of the hotel was definitely the staff, they made our stay the best. Linda and Zakaria at the front desk were too helpful. Front Office Manager Mr. Sergio is definitely in the right place. Talking to him was so pleasant and joyful. He built a great front office team. They smiled every time I spoke to them. Girl with curly dark hair. I'm sorry that I can't remember your name. Thank you for helping us find a place for New Year. Hk was so polite too. I can write infinity how I enjoy with my stay. Everything was just top.
