Lovely hotel and great location at La Coleta - idea for walks. Great food especially in the Premium restaurants. Room ok but slightly disappointing there are no irons available ( although there is an ironing service - free for premium). Love the piano bar, very relaxing. Staff very friendly and helpful. Overall great week

The Hotel was well located on the sea front and a short walk to La Caleta and Costa Adeje. It was very clean, well maintained, and the reception staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was very basic and you had to pay extra for a kettle and to use the safe. This is not acceptable for a 4 star hotel, and can be seen as a way of making extra money for something that is in every other hotel. The restaurant and food were ok but the waiter service to get drinks was very slow. The bar areas were nice, but very very slow. Table service in the outside bars was almost non existent. The drinks very average and cocktails poorly presented. The pool area was good and plenty of sunbeds available. Charging for pool towels to be washed though is again very unusual and money making. Overall, I think the hotel needs to do more. Get rid of the silly extras, and improve the bars / restaurants,. The hotel has potential to be so much more.

Great location, staff all very friendly and helpful, rooms are a little tired.Privilege sun bathing area so-so.Equipent all looking tired and too well used. Plastic glasses look about ten years old. Now to food,El Jable buffet, yes I read on another review that soups and some foods were lukewarm and I would agree with that,Its the chaos that ensues at mealtimes that grinds me. Its too many people crammed in to one area at the same time and the noise levels are intense making it an unpleasant experience. There has to be a better way? La Tosca was an alternative offered which was much quieter but the menu is very limited and once again it grinds that you are told dishes are unavailable with such a small menu. One evening there is a special of the day the next evening there is not? There is a sense of either understaffing or bad management in this restaurant which again detracts from the enjoyment. Staff were very friendly but always looked stressed. Breakfast in this restaurant is a much more pleasant experience. And now to Sakura Teppanyaki, the feature restaurant. Its like eating in a monastry. When I booked there were seven other people in the restaurant and I kept waiting for something to happen but it was truly miserable. No background music ,something Japanese may have been appropriate, the staff were cold and unfriendly, even the sake when eventually served was cold. All in all a miserable 30/40 minutes.Would be better if they turned it into a proper Tapas and Canas bar, better use of the space. The bars were good. The management of this hotel are not seeing it through the eyes of new guests, they have grow use to seeing it the way it is and are not keeping it fresh for all guests!
