Hello we arrived at 2030 and a quick and efficient check in and a welcome glass of fizz with orange. The room had a lovely welcome with cava and chocolates for our anniversary. This is adult only and for an age group of 55+. Very quiet and relaxing by pool. There was aqua aerobics but there wasn’t any where telling you of this! I missed out. Also the roof top had adequate beds (well we got one easily) and beautiful views. The restaurant was busy and plenty of waiters. Food at the show cooking area was excellent and good choices. The hotel did lack wine menus and you had to ask for one. No where did I see a price list in the bar area either. I was happy with the room service. The electronic payment on your wrist we didn’t like. I did not want a tan line😂 but they were a bit big. Cut them off and kept in our possession. We did not know what amount was on the bill (although having a wine menu the second night) gave us some indication). We had plenty money with us, however, it is a consideration for many. Good selection of incidental toiletries. Coffee machine - but not good if you like tea. I don’t. Thanks to all staff for a good visit 😊🙃

We have just returned from our first visit to this hotel, a 10 day stay and would definitely consider a return visit. The hotel is classed as “boutique” and is relatively small. This creates a more intimate atmosphere, making it very friendly. Here are our thoughts. Staffing - this has to be the crowning glory of this hotel. All staff are helpful and polite as well as being friendly and efficient. It is difficult to single out individuals. All the reception staff and bar staff were great. For their permanent smiles, Ana (and excellent omelettes) and our chambermaid (Juma?). All work hard to give a great experience to the guests. Rooms - we had a room at the back rather than a sea view. We didn’t miss the view as we rarely sit on the balcony. Found the hard (not sprung) base on the bed a little uncomfortable but generally slept OK. Daily 2 bottles of water included. Kettle offered on arrival, great for tea. Wardrobe space adequate but an extra drawer would have been helpful. Shower hot but seal not effective so water leaks onto floor. An extra couple of hooks in bathroom would give somewhere for towels and bathrobes. Styling was modern and white. Fridge/ minibar in room ( contents not free). Safe at a charge. Food - breakfast had about every choice you could wish for and all of reasonable quality. Dinner buffet was busy and quality variable but usually found something. We ate in the a la carte part of the restaurant for €9 supplement pp and this was much calmer and very high quality food. Environment- door straight on to sea front. Hotel styled in white and kept very clean. Pool area was well equipped with beds and umbrellas. Getting a bed generally not too difficult. Drinks and entertainment- entertainment every night repeated after a week. Mixed bag and very much a matter of personal taste. Found spirit and mixers a little expensive €8.5 compared to €5 in local bars.

We stayed in November 22 and decided to come back in February for more winter sun. From the moment we set foot in the building to the moment we left we were treated as valued customers. All the staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Our room over looked the sea and it was great sitting in the morning having coffee watching all the activity going on at the port. The rooms were adequate for a stay, and serviced every morning and if you forgot something there was a tray in the bathroom with toothbrush, razors, sewing kit etc as well as shampoo, gel and body creams. The food was excellent with a good choice. As well as the buffet style service, you can also have food made from scratch by the chefs. My husband was delighted when they made him a chicken curry one night. The restaurant is busy but the service and catering staff keep the place running smoothly. Do watch out for the puddings!!! We didn't try the a la Carte menu to which you pay extra for. One rule for the evening is the men are to wear long trousers, no shorts. The hotel and grounds were spotless with the pool area cleaned every morning. there were plenty of sunbeds plus the 2 upper floor sun decks Leaving the grounds through the back gate leads you onto the promenade and you can easy walk into the town or Los Americas. Do say hello to the hotel cat, Blackie, who enjoys meeting and greeting, sleeping on his favourite chairs and generally enjoying the sunshine.
