We stayed here twice last year Staff are so friendly, the cleaners were always so helpful and lovely ladies, absolute gems! The pool is huge, food is great, loads of sun loungers, taxi rank right outside the front door, Lidl and mercadona just a minute walk down the road, the views from the top of the penthouse are fab! Will definitely be back again soon. Can’t recommend enough.
Just returned from a week in Guadalpin Suites. On the plus-side: Very friendly staff, nice spacious and clean apartments. On the delta side: the whole groundfloor is a gost-area. All is shut down and it looks like a monument of earlier glory days. When you - as we did - visit outside pool season, it is not possible to enter any outdoor areas. This was a big dissapointment for us. No roof terrasse or access to just a corner in the garden. So we had to go to the beach and sit on a bench to get a little sun. We pre-payed 15 euros a day to park. It was a waste of money, as there were lots of parkings spaces outside the building at all times. At least at this time of the year.
I just got back home and the stay was that bad that I had to write a review as soon as I got back, so I actually checked out today (12/11/20). When we first arrived at Guadalpin Suites we thought it looked ok, the first room we were in was the 3 bedroom apartment. It was quite nice but outdated, the power went out twice within 2 nights so we upgraded to a 3 bedroom penthouse, when we first walked in it was much more modern than the old one, still a bit dated but better than the last one. We walked up the stairs which are very dangerous at night and for kids, anyway the hot tub was freezing and the bubbles didn't work so we called the reception and they sent someone up to fix it, the repair man actually said they make us put the temperature down to save money. Anyway the hot tub broke a second time then it was fine. We were in that penthouse for 5 nights and the electric shut down SIX TIMES! We reported this to the reception and got a free late check-out. We ended up staying another three days but got moved to a 2 bedroom superior which was the same as the first room, very dated but the hot tub was actually warmed but still quite cold and the electric also shutdown 2 times in that room as well. You also have no privacy as all the balconies are looking on to you. Overall our stay was terrible and I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.
