We booked this hotel as it had a spa,my husband enjoys a spa. Hotel was quiet,an well run. We were happy with, service, facillties. Vidal was really pleasant and organised a bottle of wine as it was my birthday. Some reviews have said needs modernising !? I disagree, i prefer the trad look. Would we re vist ? YES. Maybe improve evening entertaintment? Yoga classes, pilates would be great.

We stayed a week at this hotel in July 2024, sadly we didn’t see things as positive as others have ☹ On arrival check-in was long winded but basic, having got to the room we had to return to reception to ask about Safe keys and pool towels. At this point it was like returning to the last century where you needed to leave deposits for towels and safe locks and make sure you keep the receipts to get your deposit returned, I honestly thought this was a thing of the past! Rooms: The room was spacious and immaculately clean, decor and furnishing is tired but useable, great sea view and in the main nice and quiet ensuring a good nights sleep (until the cleaning starts!). The cleaning staff start cleaning rooms and common areas at 8 am each morning, so not ideal for a lazy morning. Restaurant: We booked Half Board, which was a mistake. Breakfast provides a basic choice, I have never experienced Omelets and pancakes cooked and presented as they are at this hotel. The cold choice was very good. Evening meal was problematic, we ate in the second half of the session and quickly noticed that food is not replenished after 20:45, on one occasion the only food available was fish as all other choices had gone. Hot food quality and grill was poor, however, the cold buffet was well presented and a good variety. Bar: The people running the bar are wonderful, with one exception, they work really hard and are cheerful and polite. Drink prices are reasonable and they have a good choice. Unfortunately we had the misfortune of being served by Fede on several occasions, I couldn’t work out if he just hated English people or all customers. Fede showed no customer skills whatsoever, grunting and shouting across the bar to ask for your order, no please or thank you. Another barman apologized for his rudeness, he said “it’s because he is a red head!!! Fede is really letting his fellow team members down, the hotel and the Grupotel organization, I doubt if he cares. Pool Area was quiet and didn’t open until 10 am, this meant there was no mad rush for sunbeds, although this did not stop some from getting the towels down early. Unfortunately we did witness a group of guests vomiting in the pool after an afternoon of heavy drinking, the hotel took no action to clean the mess but did continue serving drinks, after over an hour of other guests complaining some cleaning took place. So glad I didn’t need to use the pool the next day. In summary, this is not a 4 star hotel, or Platinum as Tui has graded it, it is a high quality 3 star hotel best suited for B & B. It is in great need of refurbishment and possibly some structural work (if the large cracks are serious). Unfortunately my lasting memory will be- * Guests Vomiting in the swimming pool and no action being taken by the hotel * On the receiving end of a rude and arrogant waiter (Fede) * Evening meal poor quality

We attended this hotel as a couple in our early 30's and found this the perfect base for our holidays. In the first 4 nights we were clubbing and getting in late and found the hotel a quiet and peaceful place to recharge dueing the day. Sunbeds were readily available all day and we preferred the roof terrace to the pool area. There is no music playing nor is there activities such as aqua aerobic, however this did not bother us. Food and drink was reasonably priced and all very nice. Room was spotless and bed was extremely comfy. We had a sea view which was worth every penny. We would definitely return to this hotel
