Visited early September. Staff make you feel so welcome, hotel has a very friendly and chilled feel to it. Room was lovely and clean, overlooked the gardens and second pool. No issues with it at all. Room cleaned daily and tools changed daily if you wanted. Pools were great and not too shallow, actually good for swimming. The sun came up on the beach side of the hotel in the morning so we would grab a sunbed on the deck here, where there was one pool and stay there most of the day until around 3-4 when the sun went behind the building. There are no sunbeds around this pool but there is a bar to get drinks, you just have to go up a few steps to the sun deck where the sunbeds were which was fine. We didn’t sit on the beach as you had to pay for sunbeds/parasols but you didn’t need to as we just walked down the steps from the hotel straight onto the beach, had a swim in the sea and walked up the few steps back to the sun deck of the hotel. We would then go round to the garden where there was another pool to get the rest of the sun until early evening. Never had a problem getting sunbeds either. Have never seen the sea so clear, beach was beautiful and sandy. It is a public beach but it’s very clean, beware though just in case you don’t like them, there are fish swimming around, which I thought was amazing, they come right up to you, so snorkelling is great. There are paddle boards and kayaks to rent too and the other beach just a short walk around the corner you can go on banana boats and jet ski. Stayed on a B&B only basis and it was very busy but you could take your breakfast to the pool/bar area and eat outside where it was quieter. Breakfast was vast, lots of selection of everything and pancakes/omelettes made fresh for you. We did have dinner one night at cost if 25 Euro. Don’t think was worth that much as not much variety and no drinks included. Not sure I would do all inclusive here as there are plenty of restaurants to try in the area which are more reasonably priced. Came back to hotel most evenings for a drink, there was entertainment around 3 nights per week. Very low key except the Sax player, he was so good and got everyone up dancing. Drinks not cheap, with cocktails from 9 euro. But again bar staff were so friendly and even got involved with the entertainment, having a dance. Portinatx is a small town with probably a dozen restaurants and couple more bars. It’s not a place to get dolled up and go out in your best long holiday dress, it’s more of a chilled, relaxed vibe, which is lovely as all the locals come out in the evenings with their families so you get to see the real side of the area. There is a bus stop which takes you to Ibiza town and another couple of towns/villages and only cost us 3 euro return and they go every hour. Definitely worth using as taxis can cost 40 euro or more. Went on a trip with TUI, sunset catamaran with bbq. Was really good and one of the highlights of our stay. We had an amazing stay and would definitely recommend the hotel if you’re after a chilled and relaxing holiday with a few restaurants and bars. There aren’t many things to do and you need to go out of town really if you want a lively night. We did stay 10 days and never felt bored as we made the most of our holiday and had a mixture of chilling and visiting places which is what we like to do. Thank you so much to all the staff at the hotel for such a lovely relaxing and enjoyable stay.
Our second time at this hotel, and fourth time in Portinatx: Wow, these folks are a joy to be around, and the hotel is spotlessly clean, modern and relaxing. The lovely restaurant and bar teams are particularly fun, friendly and caring. V appreciative that they made us feel so welcome once again. Thank you! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Also glad of the improved decking, plus the awnings outside the dining room, both of which had been upgraded since our previous visit a year ago. Our break away couldn’t have been better, thanks so much. ❤️
Stayed here for 3 nights for our 10 year wedding Anniversary, it's a lovely hotel in a lovely spot with the most beautiful views. We stayed in Room 221 which overlooked the beach, the view were just stunning, I agree that the hotel could do with a little TLC here and there and it shouldn't be classed as a 5 star but we still had the most amazing time. The hotel is quiet, was lovely to just relax around adults it was the exact vibe we was looking for. Breakfast was the usuall buffet, breads, fruit, cerals etc something for everyone and plentiful, The lunch/snack area/menu was good, can't comment on Evening meal as we was only B&B. I gave it a 5 rating but that is purley on our time/holiday as it was what we made of it but the hotel is more of a 3 star plus. I'd definitely recommend if you want a chilled out holiday close to a stunning beach with restaurants nearby, 3 night stay was just right as there isn't much else around. I'd love to return one day!
